Ingredients:
1 c butter, unsalted
2 c (500ml) honey
2 eggs
4 c (480 g) flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp kosher salt
1 c (250ml) buttermilk
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°.
2. Cream butter until it's fluffy (5 min.).
3. Beat in honey.
4. Beat in each egg, one at a time.
5. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
6. Alternate dry and wet ingredients as shown.
7. Grease and flour pan. Pour in batter and bake for 50-55 minutes.
Lemon Frosting to withstand Augusta Heat
1. Whisk 1 c butter and zest of a large lemon until it's fluffy (5 min.).
2. Add in 4 c (460g) powdered sugar one cup at a time.
3. Squeeze in lemon juice to your spreading preference.
