3:10 I have that mending book in the English edition. It's really a stitch dictionary for mending. Though it does helpfully show which stitches are better for which fabrics

I have fond memories of shopping at that place! I exercised great restraint (I think I only bought one thing there!) because it was at the beginning of the trip and I knew there would be more wonderful places to shop along the way. Love this store. I was there in 2016 and 2017 with my granddaughters. They sat back with their phones when they say all the yarn and knitting books. They decided they were doomed for the afternoon to spend it in the knitting part of Husfliden. Beautiful store. I never could have stopped at five things.

The cheese cutter? In the Netherlands we say: adutch invention; we can't live without it, we love the THIN slices of cheese on our bread (the thinner the slices, the more slices: this is how we frugal Dutch people are🤪)
