So my advice to you guys: don’t feel pressured to “see it all” in one trip! The US is a huge country, and has a great deal of distinction from one region to another. Pick a part of the country that interests you and do your whole trip there. You’ll get a lot more satisfaction out of your trip, I think.

@@evanhughes1510yes if in August Texas is way too hot! California in the desert or valley also too hot but coastal California will be hot but breathable and has nice cool breezes. August is a nice time to see Yosemite or San Francisco. Disneyland is always crowded and not a place to visit with an infant. Please check with a travel company for what to see when.

If you are looking at the southern states around the Gulf of Mexico, October through March is generally a good time. Late September to Mid November is the best time for college football and weather. If you come during Thanksgiving week, you will find everything is more expensive because of all the travelers and it's Bowl games that week that is crazy expensive. Don't expect to see a lot of fall foliage down here though. The Gulf Coast stays green nearly all year.

Texan here, just a few random comments to follow. First, I highly recommend October if coming to Texas for sure. Collage football, pro football, pro basketball, ice hockey, the Texas State Fair and the most important, cooler weather are all going on in Texas that month. Second, I am definitely committing to your Go Fund Me page as soon as I can. I would do it immediately, but just popped up and need to look at finances first, going to do it, just have to plan it out. Third, if y'all need or want a semi-guide or someone to film for y'all, I am 55 and retired, so I have plenty of time on my hands. I know that can sound sketchy from someone y'all have never met, so just a suggestion that I'm happy to do if wanted. Happy for y'all to get to live out one of y'alls dreams.

Where you choose to go should really be determined by the time of year you are able to visit, don't come to the south in the summer. (June-September), Don't go to Texas before the October, the best months for Texas are late March - early May, or October and November. Most years mid September will still be seeing highs of 100F (37F) or higher in large parts of Texas, this year was more brutal than most with highs still in the 110 -115F (43-46C) range in Texas at the first of September.

If you are wanting to go to Texas and wanting to catch some football, I would highly recomend going in October. Go to the Texas state fair in Dallas and catch the OU vs Texas game. Definitely don't go to Texas in the summer. It's miserable. I went in August 2yrs ago and got heat exhaustion on a hike. Now I can barely be outside if it's humid or over 80-85°F, which is terrible since I live in Missouri and love hiking. My husband and I like to take holidays at the beginning or ending of seasons for better weather and fewer tourists. So, depending on where we go, usually around the start of March- start of June; or the end of August- mid October. Our trips this year were to New Mexico at the start of February, Minnesota at the end of May, and Tennessee at the start of October. Just make sure you consider baby Beesley's age and how the weather will affect him before deciding where and when to go.

Great suggestion! I'm biased as a transplant from North East Pennsylvania living in Minneapolis and I love living in the Twin Cities. And Chicago for day and weekend trips. Once flew in to catch a ball game on a random summer day that was too beautiful to not burn a personal day and adventure. Both metros are great for their own unique reasons. The twin cities and Chicago are a great combo; the train from Minneapolis leaves for Chicago every morning at 8 and arrives before 5 and goes the opposite direction at night. You can have breakfast and dinner in the two largest metros in the Midwest on the same day. The flight is like an hour, but not nearly as enjoyable a way to hop between if you're not in a dire hurry. Train is also cheaper. There's talk of adding a second daily service too. I'd spend a day or two in Minneapolis and then head to Chicago for a few days. Catch a baseball game in both cities (but, stadium beer prices are scandalous! Be warned.) if possible. The target stadium in Minneapolis faces downtown and is a beautiful way to spend a summer afternoon that you'll remember for the rest of your life. Wrigley stadium is...uhhh, more historical. But, also great in its own way. One final warning; but pizza in Chicago. It gives the tri-state area a run for its money as the best in the US, IMHO. Don't ever buy pizza in the Twin Cities. Once you're west of Chicago the pizza is terrible until you hit the Pacific. Edit : Boston in late spring / early summer could possibly be the worst roads in the US due to the temperature fluctuating and the fact they didn't engineer them so much as pave over horse and buggy windy paths. Like DC, Baltimore, a bit of Philly, they're concentric circles instead of modern grid layout. The potholes just make the situation and native drivers that much more anxiety and anger inducing. Massholes, the lot of them.

Great news! As many have mentioned, It would be my recommendation that you research the seasons in the areas that you would like to travel. The South would be sweltering in the middle of Summer. The North will be freezing in Winter, with bare, dead-looking trees, and icy, snow-packed roads. Winter travel can be unpredicatable, often with canceled flights, and often with flu going around. Mid-Spring to early Summer, and early Fall are usually good for most of the country. The Rocky Mountains usually stay relatively cool, for most of the Summer, and have lots of wildflowers then. Animsls will be out of hibernation/brumation. But the mountain roads can be dangerous to drive in Winter. Also, if uou are going to mountain locations, give yourself time to adapt to altitude, and work your way up slowly. Yellowstone is spectacular, but the average altitude in Yellowstone is over 8,000 ft above sea level. Once again, work your way up over a period of days. During that adjustment period, your bodies will adapt by producing more red blood cells to handle altitude; giving you a better oxygen supply. It would be a good idea to watch videos and read about staying comfortable, while adapting to high altitude. (No adaptation required to go to lower altitudes). The maximum altitude in the lower 48 US states, (tallest mountain summits are around 14,500 feet), but you won't find cities that high; most are less than 7,000 ft high, and they are all in the West.

I lived in Texas. Love it! Fly into DFW and check out Big D. Take a gondola ride in Los Colinas and see the Mustang Sculptures, too. 😊 San Antonio is really cool as well! Go in October. God bless Texas! ❤️🤍💙

In Dallas the average high in August is 96 fahrenheit while in September it's 89 F and in October it's 79 F. Obviously this is Dallas and with the state being so large that's subject to variation. Definitely don't go in August the hottest month or early September when it's still very hot maybe the latter part into October if you're going late in the year. I hope you'll have a wonderful and safe trip whatever you choose to do.👍😀

Try to go to an area and do most of it in that area. The US is so big I am 63 yrs old and have not even seen 1/3rd of it. Also congratz what a beautiful baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!! go to the south! The smoky mountains are great. If you decide to see a college football game the BEST is the SEC! The southeastern conference wins most national titles.

You should come to my home state of Colorado! The state is vividly beautiful, with the spectacular Rocky Mountains dominating the landscape. We have four national parks, nine national monuments, several world-famous ski towns, and every type of outdoor recreation you can imagine. There's something to do here in every month of the year, from skiing in the winter to driving up to the top of Pike's Peak in the summer. And you can drive to the national parks in neighboring Utah and Wyoming relatively easily from here.

James and Millie, Come to Virginia, visit mountain lake resort, and if you're a movie buff you'll recognize it ( dirty dancing), natural bridge, colonial Williamsburg, various lakes and rivers, leaves changing for the fall has more or less passed.

Flights in and out of DFW (Dallas-Ft.Worth) International Airport will likely be the least expensive place to arrive in Texas from Europe. I say this based on the last thirty years flying to Europe and Asia to and from Texas with my family.

I haven't seen anyone mention heat rash especially in babies. It's also called Prickly Heat and produces an itchy, red rash, sometimes blisters in and around a baby's skin folds and under diapers. It's generally not serious but can be very uncomfortable for a baby.

After you decide where and when, I am sure people will help you. It'll be up to you how much or as little help you will want. Have a meet and greet. There you will get offers to go to restaurants and locations locals will know, and they will offer to take you there.

Just FYI between May and Sept it will be 95-110 Fahrenheit. I lived in Europe 18 years and have family in TX…it is really hot for 3 months. I know when we would visit even in the winter and the weather was 65-70 it felt like summertime in Germany.

I hope you have a blast in the USA! First, if you haven’t already done this, look into car rental packages and AirBnb’s or even an extended stay-type of hotel if you wish to have a kitchen and maybe even a washer or dryer. I know how it feels to even spend 5 days in a small hotel room that may or may not have these amenities and it’s chaos in a small space with lots of your belongings (in my opinion). Texas is beautiful place to visit but can also be miserably hot in the Summer/Autumn. Also, if you decide to get any Airbnb, I’m sure you’ll want to be in a place that is close to where everything is easy to travel to either on foot or a few mins by car I.e., grocery stores, restaurants, etc…I’m looking forward to your trip and watching your upcoming vlog(s)! Have fun!!

I would talk to Mr. H. He would bean excellent source of info since he was just here. Plan on bringing mote money than what you think. Things are more expensive here these days. The best time to come to Texas is in late September or October. I think you will love Texas. I live in Lubbock. Remember its a big state . From Lubbock to Dallas is 4 hours. Lubbock to Houston is at least 10 hours, depending on traffic and road construction. I really hope you enjoy your time here. Much ❤️

Wherever you go, ask the community and locals where to eat, what the best items to get are, AND how to best eat it. I see so many people visiting on RU-vid order something I wouldn't recommend or eat it without a sauce or incorrectly.

Everyone (foreign reactors) goes to Texas--they must have quite the Tourism Board. Personally, I would go further west--to the Rockies, the southwestern desert or West Coast. I've watched a half-dozen folks "come to America" and spend their whole time in Texas so it would just be more of the same, IMO.
