A wholesome Robbie Rotten fact... Stefan Karl Stefansson loved memes surrounding the character he played, saying they made him laugh and that they helped him get through his cancer treatments. To the point he encouraged his fans to send them to him.

love how the instruments shift from fokloric instruments of Iceland to folkloric instruments used by Chile (you can't fool me Brandon, I know the sound of that bugle at 2:03 by heart) every verse, feels like it's going between the north and south of the world all the time, and it really blends perfectly. What helps this choice in my opinion, is the latter country dubbed LazyTown for all of Latin America, while the former birthed the entire franchise. Which adds to that sense of kindred and familiarity between both countries, and it also compliments Waluigi's affinity for Spanish instruments.

I absolutely enjoy the stylistic choices in this cover art! The way Waluigi’s hat has Robbie Rotten’s colors, the blue and orange streaks from the LazyTown logo, the two Bob-Ombs referencing when Waluigi helped Wario blow up the tennis court that one time, plus his ever iconic rose! And don’t forget that lollipop that also has Robbie’s colors. Overall, this song is an absolute treat!

I'm not as die-hard of a Waluigi fan as some people may be, but I would NEVER deny that this track and fight idea is fucking awesome.

I'm generally not one to condone matchups involving real people that have died in recent years (because let's be real, Robbie Rotten *is* Stefan Karl as much as the opposite is true in pop culture) so I was really hoping this song would do justice to the guy given he absolutely deserves it. And in the end ? I'd say it succeeded. It's a lighthearted and upbeat song that references both sides of the matchup really well while sounding fun and being memorable, all that's needed from a track involving Robbie Rotten and Waluigi. It didn't go over the top, it stayed true to the characters and maybe it's just me looking too deep into it but some segments of the track feel like actual homages to the person which is really good. Really I don't have much to add on this track. I mean, it's exactly what you could expect in a best case scenario for this matchup: it's enjoyable, it's catchy, it references the themes befitting both sides while still keeping a very unique identity and it doesn't go needlessly over the top, instead feeling like a true classic DB-style track for a classic comedic matchup. It's all you could request from such a song and then some more. Overall this track is really simple but in the best of ways. It's everything it needed to be without going above what it should have done, resulting in a funky and catchy track fitting both sides. I must emphasize that I'm really glad how Brandon stayed simple with it, it gives the track a very classic "authentic" feeling that going too hard on it would have removed so it's pretty much exactly how it should be now. Amazing job as always with this.

You have NO IDEA how much I actually want for this to become a Death Battle! They’re very similar, both lanky, wearing purple in some form, can be unpredictable with their schemes (like, who was expecting Waluigi to be the main antagonist of DRR: Mario Mix?), both have plenty of gadgets and items that they use on the heroes, both dislike the happiness of others (for Robbie Rotten, though, it’s more that he’s sometimes disappointed that he wasn’t invited, which can be the case for a few examples for Waluigi as well), are kind of underdog antagonists that are beloved by their respective communities and have had various memes made about them out of love and passion for their characters, and enjoy other people’s misery (to a lesser extent for Robbie Rotten), but they’re also polar opposites, as while Waluigi likes playing sports, Robbie Rotten is too lazy and a little too out of shape to play them too well, and while Waluigi thinks everyone else (aside from _maybe_ sometimes Wario) is cheating, Robbie Rotten _can_ still play fair and be a decent sport when he wants to be, and while Waluigi can be kind of cruel, Robbie Rotten can still every once in a while be actually kind and give decent advice and isn’t _truly_ evil, and, kind of like Dick Dastardly, some people actually root for Robbie Rotten sometimes!

Nothing against this matchup, but it personally feels too soon since Stefan Karl's death, even if it's been a while, is still fresh in my mind like it was yesterday.

I see this as a Fight. Involving into the two having a blast and trying to one up the other in shenanigans rather than actively try to kill the Other. I think the likely result is Waluigi winning (due to the fact he only appears in Side Games, the things he does in there would be his feats.) I could see him mourning Robbie, seeing a 1 Up Come by, use it on him, and the two run off together to continue their shenanigans, Waluigi having now learned a lesson in Restraint.
