WE ARE SO READY!! - Arcane Season 2 TRAILER REACTION! 

Yeah to be fair this trailer really only covers a very short period of time. Basically just shortly after the bombing. There's so much more potential for where this season could go. Perhaps having to fight off Noxus if Ambessa takes things too far.

@@lockekappa500 Or maybe the rival Ambessa mentioned, the one who killed her son? I could definitely see the first three episodes being the war between Piltover and Zaun, which ends with Jinx being thrown in prison to parallel Vi in season 1. Then we have a small timeskip, and the whole world is now aware of the power of Hextech weaponry, so one of "the threats outside our walls" as Jayce described it shows up to conquer Piltover and take Hextech for themselves. A common threat that forces topside and the undercity to work together to protect themselves from Maybe Vi and Cait even have to bust Jinx out of prison and work together with her because of her knowledge of Hextech weapons or her influence with the people of the undercity as this sort of perceived martyr for their independence

@@aranthur I love all of this. And honestly now that I think of it I don't think Ambessa will become a villain. They have too many options for that, I think she's too simple of an option. (and also complicates some things with Mel and Jayce)

@@lockekappa500 I could see Ambessa going either way, really. She would probably prefer to be an ally to Piltover and keep access to the Hextech, but if Jayce or someone refuses to give any weapons to her, she could become a dangerous enemy Though I suppose another option is that episodes 1 to 3 could show us how strong she and her army are so that in episode 5 or something when they are defeated by the REAL bad guy of the season, we know to be very very afraid

The team up between Jinx and Sevika is definitely happening. The gun that Sevika is using in the trailer is Jinx's old gun. And the arm she's using has a lot of jinx's handiwork on it.

@@krisharmon5572 Something that occurred to me about this team up that makes it weirdly work: What was the thing Jinx was angriest at Vi and Silco for? Lying to her and betraying her. She was constantly accusing them of being liars and getting very upset about it. But what happened after she accused Sevika of the same thing? She found out she was wrong "Wait. Sevika WASN'T lying?!" she says after seeing Caitlyn. And in the end, Sevika is also the one person who doesn't betray Silco. So weirdly, despite their animosity so far, Sevika might be the one person Jinx feels like she can trust to tell her the truth no matter how much it hurts and not turn on her

​@@aranthuroh, I'm sure Jinx knows Sevika *will* turn on her if she doesn't agree with Jinx's decisions. She did it with Vander, she openly discussed the possibility with Silco. But not without being very clear what she doesn't like, well in advance. Which is the next best thing to blind devotion. Cool theory, really like it.

pretty sure the final chapter just means for vi and jinx, theres so many champions with great stories to tell theres no way they end it here

I'm not sure if I'd say "incredibly misleading". They very often have the dialogue not match the scene, but said dialogue still appears in the show and means the same thing. But they can't misdirect you when it comes to visuals on their own, so there's really no reason "not to trust everything you see here".

​​@@smileyhappyface5864That's literally the definition of misleading. If you watch trailer for the first season, they indeed used same scenes and dialogues that appear in the show, but trailer arranges them in such a way that it paints entirely different story, than what we actually got.

@@AppleBaron Again, I don't agree that it "paints an entirely different story". Silco saying "Imagining yourself a hero?" to Vi instead of Marcus doesn't change the way the line would be interpreted very much, as it's totally something he would say to her. Vander saying "Bit of advice: Don't threaten the guy who pours the drinks" to Marcus instead of the scammers doesn't mean anything because the scene that the dialogue is - in either context - just a funny but threatening line towards a side character. If there was then a camera cut showing Marcus dying, or a deceptive switch between two scenes to make it look like Vander is alive in act 2 or like Vi dies at some point, _that_ would tell a different story. Arcane trailers have yet to do anything like that. TL;DR: Nothing about the way things are put together implies a different story from what we got in the show, and the idea that this could be used to justify not taking the season 2 trailer at face value is pure copium to avoid accepting that VI gave up on Powder.

I actually think Mel has the highest chance of being alive. 1) The trailer has her mother talking down to someone, the same way she spoke to Mel before. 2) Mel wouldnt personally have the ability to make Hextech, but worked closely enough with Jayce that she could probably get it funded based on his tech. Also keep in mind that Hextech is "normal" now, case in point, the giant airships. 3) At the end of the season, right before the rocket hits the glass you can see marks on her body glow like magic. My theory is that she actually had some sort of defensive magic in place from Noxus and that she will be wounded or crippled but not dead as a result

@@undeathghost5627 (1) She could just as easily be talking to Jayce; (2) airships aren't Hextech, and it's highly unlikely that some random person could step into Jayce or Viktor's shoes and make Hextech weaponry; (3) the idea that the glow is some kind of protective magic is wishful thinking on the part of those who like Mel--there was no indication whatsoever that she wore such items.

@@undeathghost5627 Mel actually has the lowest chance of being alive bc everything you said we don't know as a fact, just speculation. While with Joyce and Viktor we know facts. And the 2nd thing you mentioned is like saying "Phones are normal and everywhere so a random person knows how to make them". Not much sense there. We share 1st and 3rd thoughts but that's just hoping and praying lol I want to also add that there is no emotion in her mom's voice when she practically says her daughter is gone. Like none. No sadness no anger, just "Your council is ded stoopid" kinda voice. I feel like Mel is either de4a, in a coma or hurt and in the hospital. But alive and well? Highly unlikely based on what we know so far. Myb they reveal more abt her in the next teaser.
