The museum is in Macon, GA and is the house the Allman Brothers band lived in together early in their career. Worth a visit if you’re in the area. Also I highly recommend Greg Allman’s book “My Cross to Bear”. Fantastic read.

the inspiration from this performance just for him to be at the "Big House" was all that was needed to deliver a performance worthy of Duane's Gold Top. Young man is incredibly talented. his band is awesome as well!

I have seen Marcus king about a dozen of times or more. I love this guy. Blues is my favorite music to listen to. Then again I'm from the Mississippi Delta but now in Florida the last 16 years

New sub . Been a fan a minute, but Marcus king deserves a sub from me. Dude is a gem, I have seen him in concert 3 times now one of my personal favorites. Others have mentioned: "The Big House" is the Allman brother's museum and the house in Georgia where the Band and their friends lived an hung out back in the 70s. So Allman fans have called it "The Big House" since back in those days. Duane Allman is one of Marcus King's biggest hero's and influences. Marcus' influence are both broad and deep, from Doc Watson to well, just about anybody cool. Again, as other's have mentioned that is Duan Allman's actual Les Paul Gold top guitar, and that same guitar sold shortly afterwards at auction for $1,250,000 ---- yes 1.25 Million Doallars. The most anyone has ever payed for a guitar. The song "Dying" is a Marcus King original.

The big house (now museum) is the house where the Allman Brothers band lived together from 1970 to 1973 I think. What's really cool is, that's Duane Allmans gold top Les Paul he's playing!

It was discouraged by fascist record labels until more recent times, but white folk can be just as soulful. It was the labels angle that only black people should be doing this. that stifled so much over the years. Still (innocently) such a look of shock when white hit the soul button. Check out joe banamasa and Eric Gale's. He is from Memphis. The song is the ballad of John Henry. It's a dope song and they have a lead guitar competition. Probably the best song ever in my opinion.

Cool video and nice reactions, but for some cc, Id suggest y'all learn the proper terms regarding the music, you said acoustic guitar and its clearly an electric, and not just any electric, its Duane Allmans gold top, and right after you said acapoco instead of acapella. granted there was a following correction, but come on guys, if you guys truly appreciate the music and doing reviews/reactions I would expect you to provide a proper analysis for the people. with that being said, love the video and love the fact that y'all are giving MK the recognition because he deserves it. if you haven't already, dive into to more MKB, they are the real deal.
