Finally, the trip to the US began. For our first time in Los Angeles, we stayed at a friend's house. Sutan was nervous at first, but she tried to speak English on her own and made matcha together gradually got used to it. Thank you, Kentaro-san family!

Kimono mom, be wary of racism by the Whites who live in the US. Trust me. Asians (of all stripes) are targeted. It is very bad here. Visit. And then turn around and go back. I myself am leaving the country permanently. And I’m a United States citizen. I’m “gosei” and you know what that means. I have no choice but to leave this place if I want a better quality of life. Kimono mom! A United States “gosei” here. Please be careful. There is extreme racist violence against Japanese Americans (all Asians) mainly by the Caucasians who live here. The United States constantly spews anti-China propaganda and thus we are all affected. Sakura kokumai ( an American karateka) was almost killed because a Caucasoid didn’t like the way she looks - Asian. There were a Japanese American father and his two year old daughter attacked in Portland Oregon by a Caucasoid. He yelled “Japanese “ and started attacking them. Don’t move here and don’t engage with any of the caucasoids who live here. I myself am leaving the United States permanently. Don’t EVER trust a caucasoid, especially an American nazified Caucasoid. Peace. Stay safe

@@line7596Oh yeah...We go to the one in California more than Disney. It's got 2 hotels and a water park! They have them in Florida and in Windsor 🇬🇧 UK!! #AFOL #LEGO is huge they have parks in Japan, Dubai and Germany. But LA isn't San Diego. Disney is closer unless they're going to SD. Then they should go to the San Diego Zoo not SeaWorld. If they're staying in LA they could go to the Santa Monica Pier so Sutan could see the beach with the amusement park.

Maybe try some authentic Mexican Food, or Cambodian Food, or Filipino Food. Sutan can try a McDonald's Hamburger or an American pizza from Cici's.

Oh, yay! Welcome to California! I live in Orange County, but I am currently visiting my daughter in North Carolina, on the east coast of the U.S., because she attends graduate school here. My daughter loves Japanese culture and was a few days from visiting Tokyo in 2020 when the pandemic shut everything down. Luckily, she is now making plans to visit Japan again this coming spring, when she hopes to collaborate with a professor in Hokkaido who also studies birds (my daughter is working on her PhD in Biology).
