Cleetus and team, check out Leroy's rear rims at 6:20. At the launch, his rear wheels are pulling "Toe-in" when the power hits. Looks like the "Dish" in the rims is flexing. Easy to spot if you go through the video frame by frame. Seems time for some stronger rims for Leroy's rear end to help hold his power and prevent his rear from coming loose. 2nd time commenting about this. Wanna see this boy FLY!

It sounds crazy, but have you guys thought about fitting a small air fitting to the bellhousing so you can add a few psi of cool air to help with clutch cooling between runs. I know drilling a hole sounds like a bad idea, but if you fit a compensation pad around it you should be able to maintain strength. We do the same kind of stuff with high pressure lines all day.

That clutch brekdown at the beginning just goes to show that a clutch is a sacrificial item. At this level, the consumption is extremely accelerated due to stress. It may not be quite to “top fuel dragster” levels that require a rebuild after every run, but consumption of parts have got to be expected.

Good luck with the roller bushing longevity. Do that to Leroy he becomes just another pretty face in the crowd. Don't do it. The bare bones stick shift Leroy evolution is what separate you from everyone else. Stick shift Leroy is what people are rooting for. Pro Mods with a glide or t400 are dime a dozen. Leroy a legend! Tbh they did ALOT on that clutch. I was waiting for 2-3 videos for them to replace it before it even burned through. They did more dyno pulls than they wanted to, lots of traction loss to redline(ish) starts dialing suspension, a fair number of pulls without adjusting the clutch trying to minimize changes, and a few really really solid runs.. it's completely understandable that the clutch smoked out in the timeline it did the point is that its a attrition part. It's planned to go out and they know that it's good for 1s 60fts which is objectively quite better than their old clutch setups. Nobodies fault Cleet, just new parts and new parts management.

I can't wait to see what the end goal motor for Leroy is because in the last Leroy video, Cleet did say to get into the 6s they would be pushing the motor to the limit and Leroy being full blown race car now and a few guys running consistent mid 6 second passes, I would guess the motor combo is going to have to change at some point.

They could measure, cut, and Gorilla tape up a body with cardboard that fits around everything but the turbos and windshield. Would be interesting.

For the clutch, maybe it's worth it to add a line for compressed air to cool it down with? Just enough to make it a bit windy inside the bellhousing between runs to make it cool down quicker. You could probably also steal a bit of bleed air from the turbskis to cool it down slightly during the runs.
