I like how the Velma show just opened the eyes of people to EVERY single other piece of Scooby content.

The name Mr. E is a pun on the word 'mystery'. And I genuinely had a brain-blast when I figured this out years later.

1. This series was amazing. Seeing it all compiled into a nearly 3 hour video is a TREAT! 2. This show *deserved* to run longer than just 52 episodes. Its still argued to be one of the better versions of Scooby-Doo *period.* Its off the wall silly, genuinely hillarious, self aware and unafraid to dip its toes into some really *dark shit* and it does it all pretty seamlessly and without sacrificing what makes the series iconic.

There's something so funny about them pulling off masks to reveal a nearly identical face underneath and have the characters be shocked

I love how Hot Dog Water (Marcy) went from being a joke to being one of the best characters. Fred is still the best character by far.

A couple fun facts: 1) The Vincent Van Ghoul episode are a tribute to both classic horror films and Vincent Price (the man who originally played Vincent when he was introduced in older Scooby Doo shows). He's played by Maurice LaMarsh (who's the Brain in Animaniacs) in this show as well as future incarnations of the characters. 2) The Hex Girls are reoccurring fan-favorite characters that were first introduced in the Scooby Doo animated films. The first two songs you hear in their episode where songs from their previous appearances.

I love that Fred asked Daphne on a date to a trap exhibit, basically pulled a guy asking a girl on a date to the strip club! XD

The phone in the shower thing is actually pretty normal for older folks who live alone. If they fall in the shower, or otherwise need to call from the bathroom in an emergency, having a phone there helps. May be less common nowadays with cell phones, but there are certainly houses with that feature.

Flim Flam was part of the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo 'crew', which consisted of Him, Scooby, Shaggy, and Scrappy Doo, guided by Vincent Van Ghoul. What's interesting about that, to me at least, is the fact that people still remember Scrappy, because they hate him so much, but almost no one remembers anything else about the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo.

SDMI is still one of the best modern adaptians of the Scooby Doo franchise! And seeing you guys binge the show is a real treat!!!

This show always terrified me years ago, and loved it from start to finish. Great overarching mystery, great atmosphere, and so many great characters. Even back then, I shipped the Mayor and the sheriff, they're so cute together. I must give a thumbs up to that new show, Velma. The only good thing it did is increase my appreciation for this show even more, since it has all the things I love about the Scooby-Doo franchise, and more.

I've been at a mass cicada emergence. The sheer density of cicadas in the air was wild, you could just reach out and grab one wherever you were. Me and so e friends went down to the nearby pond and did some catch and release fishing. Fed those fish a couple hundred cicadas. Hooked something strong enough to snap my pole in half.

Lot of people don't remember that the guy in the hospital from Destroido [see in "When The Cicada Calls"] was actually the 1st person to die in the series [his heart rate monitor flatlines and the gang walked out]. A lot of people only remember Angel [Cassidy] being the 1st person offed [see in "The Midnight Zone"] but after the Destroido employee, Ed Machine [E's Right Hand] was killed off by Pericles in his home [see in "Pawn of Shadows"] After season 1 ends, Cassidy [Angel Dynamite] was the next one to be marked off the show by Pericles blowing up the research station [see in "The Midnight Zone"] Before the Finale Episode [Come Undone] where The Entity would consume all of Crystal Cove, Hotdog Water [Marcy] would be killed off by Pericles' Kriegstaffebots [see in "Through The Curtain"]

This show is great because of its insanity and all of the out of context scenes. Its personally comedy gold 🤣🌟
