Since people are mentioning you guys killing similar mobs a lot, what about a challenge where if you killed the same mob, everything either of you got from that mob is banned. You did one before where if you had the same item it was banned and the thought processes there was really interesting. I just think it could mix things up well
The thing is that just incentivises killing the best mobs anyway because the game theory works out that that is better A similar concept but naming a ban and then going and doing something else might work

Have you ever considered a "Sand Only" where you can only walk on tiles that are sand? Places like the desert and the beach areas have a fair bit to offer.

Absolutely agreed it has become the meta for it though I actually wouldn't have minded at all if they didn't specifically going to all the effort to prevent damage that wasn't an ice barrage (via darts, venom, etc)... it just seems wrong that after one punch a troll that will be counting for a kill has half its hp.

Yeah they are very aware of crawling hands dropping sapphire rings. They are not that common and wasting casts on them isn't ideal. And in most of the challenges they would need to get runes for enchanting as well, wasting more casts
I'm just disappointed Link didn't work towards a recoil after he got the water battlestaff, not only do crawling hands drop the sapphire rings but barbarians drop the mould at a 1/128, and barb village is multi, defo doable with a bit of luck as you can kill loads of them in 1 cast
New idea for a fight, single chunk line going all the way north and south and all the way east and west. So basically a big plus sign across the map, fight any mobs/mine any ores/visit any shops as long as they're in the chunk line going N/E/S/W, 2 or 3 hr limit
@@Bloodreign137 he is using the tracker for that but even during the vid they mention the trackers not the best at tracking drops when multiple enemies die in the same tick. In all fairness Rargh probably messed up to but even at the end I was sure Link got 2 grubby keys that gave him 400 bloods total not counting other drops but he goes into the fight with less than that. Edit went back to double check can confirm get gets 400 blood from just gubbys but when its time for the fight he says he has less than that.
Great upload boys! I also have a pvp challenge idea! Kill one npc of each letter of the alphabet going from A-Z. You can look through the npc list on the wiki and choose which one to kill. After those 26 kills, use whatever gear you get(lucky or unlucky) for the final fight. Food like lobsters or swordfish would automatically be provided for the final fight. I think it'd be pretty interesting.
This fight was actually one of the most entertaining to watch and I've seen them all! Would like to see more tri-brid fights. Could be cool if its compulsory for a video, where you have to have all 3 attack styles and x number of switches. Keep up the good work!
i feel like overheads should be allowed, opens up for more options forcing you both to not just go hard on one thing which usually means you both show up in addy plate and rune scim etc

You guys should do like a full send episode like 300 boss kills for a setup but have all bosses as options and you can split that count between them however you want, would love to see a higher end setup episode lol

Ok, so, this may be TOO complicated, but I had an idea for a competition, and addition to challenges going forward. So first idea, what if you guys get like a certain number of coins, I am thinking at least 1 mil, and then you use those coins to bid on, essentially slayer tasks. Spin the wheel, and then you guys bid on getting the task that is spun, do it like, 6 times. If either of you get zero tasks, one of you just wins all the bids, that person gets get one free spin for one task, no do-overs. Now, any coins leftover can be used to purchase anything in the game for the fight. No tools are given, everything that is not a drop, it has to be bought. I just like the idea of making you guys do 'different' things, and also, you'll both see what the other is going for, and can plan, mixing the RNG and the ability to just plan for what you know you can get. The second idea, is an addition to these challenges, and once again, maybe too involved, but it is sad when RNG screws one of you guys over TOO much, so I was thinking of a 'basic item shop' that you guys can get stuff from after the challenge and before you meet up to show off your gear. Maybe the prices can be tweaked, but basically any items you get in your challenge can be turned over into coins, and you can buy something from the item shop that you may be lacking. I would say a limit, like 1 or 2 purchases max, as it should be a way to help with something that may be lacking, rather than a full win of a fight. Stuff in the shop could be like, 1 dose of certain potions, like 2 sharks, rune dagger, mith plate, green vambraces, 10 casts of a mid level spell, etc.
Here's an idea: Maybe during the reveals if one/both of you have ranged and/or magic, you can just show a single of each type of rune/arrow to keep some suspense with the not knowing how many hits the other can do with something! Also, this episode was amazing, loved seeing some Barrows runs here!

Man after researching the magic armor drop tables I realized that magic armor drops are absolute shit. And they don't even give that much defense at all.
Here’s an idea I can up with. What if y’all do kills based on drop chances, so I you want a weapon, and it’s drop chance is 1/200 then you can only kill a max of 200 of that monster. And you can choose a max kills, like you have a total of 3,000 kills total. I would love to see y’all do this, seems fun
I've noticed that Link really shines with these challenges. I'm #teamrargh but with these types of videos? Link has the big brain strats every single time. I'm starting to become #teamboth 😃 But my roots are still in Rargh's cc ❤️
Rargh almost always plays it sort of in a genuine way and you can tell he doesn't spend hours planning out every tactic. Link is great, I love them both. But the challenges typically lean in Link's favor and Rargh is just happy go lucky trying to have fun while he gets KO'd
Should had froze him then stood beside of him and dagger because maging vs his mage bonus over yours was tough! Also next time range more with those poison arrows until you know he’s poisoned haha

Did link have a stroke when he was talking about the rune sq shield at 15:40?? Rune shields definitely give negative attack and defense bonuses and it even shows it on the RL overlay? Too much to drink again???
In only 4 minutes in but i pray someone goes to nechraels in catacombs. They drop LOADS of rune items very quickly. And has a safe spot. Good luck boys. Im sure I'll be SUPER SATISFIED
