Really life is great in big families. My husband and I had 8 children in the 60’s and 70’s I miss those times. We didn’t have a lot of money but we had love. Now I enjoy all the kids , and grand babies and great grand babies. God has bless my life. May he continue to bless you and your family!

I've been anemic for most of my life, when I was pregnant had to take extra iron, but what help me to get through the day is I took mine before bed, and I had a lot of energy doing the day. Had my last baby at 43. Maybe that might help never know, God bless you guys

My grandmother has like 25 chickens, 2 turkeys and a pig every year. She keeps them in the back yard behind her garden. She feeds them and takes care of them. First of all it is cheaper because she buys little chicks that she grows, secondly the quality of the meat is better cause she feeds them and controls everything they eat and lastly because of her full garden with potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, peppers, corn ect her diet is so healthy! She bakes her own bread every other day, buys cows milk from the local farmer and feeds a family of 4! I am a strong believer that it is worth the effort to work all year long if you know that your family will be eating healthy! Congrats on supporting local farmers and i hope you grow your garden even more!

I can relate to your hemoglobin being low because it's something that I have to deal with but it mainly happens when I loose a lot of blood. It's a real blessing to be able to follow along in your pregnancy and I'm so excited about meeting your new arrival. I'm so happy for all of you. Xx

We have raised and burchered scottish highland cattle. Their meat is naturally lean and low cholesterol. Almost like venison but with beef flavor! I highly recommend

Yay! Glad for an update and for answers! If they suggest the iron infusion get it! I had 3 this time around and it helped me immensely. My doc said it was fairly new in this area but since iron supplements make me sick I was thankful for that option. Continued prayers! 💕🙏🏼💕🙏🏼

My cows name was Linda. I cried like a baby when they took her to process. I was probably 5-6 years old. I have never forgot that. We raised her from a baby. I was too young to understand this was for food. We gave 1/2 of Linda to the butcher to pay for processing. We were poor and needs to feed our family. You have brought many memories for me. Glad you’re feeling better. We raise bottle lambs for meat and have food names: chops, liver, stewie, etc. This year the names Tasty and Chewy were added to the list. It helps to remind us all that they’re intended for a good summer and then into the freezer.

We have a cow on order now, the farmer took us out to the pasture and let us pick our own cow out. If you don't like a lot of roasts, cut up some of your chuck roasts and London broils to make stew meat, It seems you eat more of it. Hope your washer gets fixed very soon I would be lost without mine. In my perfect world, I would have a washer and 2 dryers. It takes twice as long to dry a load than to wash so I would be able to throw one in each dryer as they were washed. Love your family and channel.

Wonderful feature that your Instant Pot has is that the lid can be inserted in the handle to stand upright, leaving your counter clear. I love mine! I boil several eggs and bake potatoes each week & refrigerate. A great way to have everything on hand for quick potato salad, egg salad, mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, potato tacos, 2x baked potatoes, stuffed potatoes, eggs for snacking, etc!
