pls continue to spread joy and show those miserable bullies that their opinions on autistic ppl not masking & showing off their happiness doesn't matter. ♡ (especially when you can tell at least 90% of those from tiktok are neurotypicals)
You have such an infectious and warm energy over renovating your own house (and in general) which has made me so excited to watch this series!!! Which is actually saying something because I am normally ambivalent on house renos, but you are so awesome Chloé and it brings me joy :))
My partner and I just got married, and we want to buy a house as soon as possible so we can make it our own autistic wonderland. But we'll live vicariously through your reno at this point while we save a house deposit. :)
So happy for you, we redid the kitchen 2 years ago and my not negotiables were built in bins (3 so that I had rubbish and recycling) so that they aren't in the way and having a really big sink. Can't believe what a difference the size of the sink has made in my ability to get the washing up done and not let it build up. It is big enough that we have a freestanding stove and the grill tray can fit in it flat.
Congratulations Chloé, the house looks so cool and the house I live in still has some of that yellow paint, though we have painted over a lot of it over the years.
It IS so exciting!! 🤗 (happy flappy/stimmy hands) I'm proud of you! What an accomplishment! It's also so great to see you unmasked and so unapologetically yourself!!
so happy for you Chloé!! (by the way not gonna lie I would actually buy your carpet if I could. My signed copy of your book and the pen you used are very special to me)
Chloe, I could not be happier for You and Dylan😃😃💛💛💛💛💛!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In fact, I feel the same way since I moved to a nicer neighborhood and got a new Apartment on Aug. 7th, even though I do not own my apartment, it was fun to decorate it😃😃!!! I so LOVE what you are both doing for the house💛💛💛💛💛!!! And I really LOVE those floral designs🌻 and birds🦜 in the laundry room😃😃👍👍👍💯💯💯💯💯!!! And Chloe, I can not wait to see Vlog 2 and what you both do with the house💛💛💛💛💛💛💛!! Thanks so much for sharing your new home🦋🦋 and sharing your happiness with us all😃😃💛💛💛💛💛!!!!
Here to spread love and compassion and hope. ❤ Good luck with house renovations and making yourselfs feel comfortable. And thank you for your book! I read it in a few days, commuting to work.

I just have to say u are my absolute idol! I bought your book and listened to your podcast i follow u on Instagram and u have helped me in so many ways thank you so much
Congrats, Chloe!!!! I'm really really happy for you. Thank you for sharing your joy with us, seeing you so excited warms my heart, you deserve all the good things in the world 🥺❤️ I'm so proud of what you accomplished and the person you are!!
Congratulations Chloë and Dylan. It's a lot of work, but so rewarding. I agree, if you have the resources now, then do what you can now. I'm just designing mynew house and kitchen and making sure its suited to my autie brain. I'm having ALL DRAWERS because if something goes to the back of a cupboard, i never see it again 😂😂 so this time, all drawers so i can see what's at the back. My tip: Have fun, think about how you live and design to fit routines and your brain.❤
Congratulations guys! You can get handy gadgets to help with the painting, makes cutting in faster and simpler. One of the brands is called Shurline. Also you might want to buy lots of rolls of special painters tape. It's blue, designed to be removed easily after painting, and still stay stuck during painting.
this is so fun to watch. you're clearly so happy and we need some more autistic joy these days! can't wait to see more of these vlogs!!! side note: i was wondering about ur experience with manual labour as an autistic person because for me it's one of the hardest tasks for me to accomplish, even if i'm super passionate about it! so i wondered how you felt about it and wether you had any tips for an autistic baby like me who has a really difficult time with that stuff
Congratulations, Chloe! I know absolutely nothing about houses, but I totally agree with you, the house has great bones! I can't wait to see what you do with this (mostly) blank canvas. Here's to another lovely video example of autistic joy! And I'm totally adding a partner like Dylan to my "to thrift" list. Seriously, you two are so adorable and you make me believe that I can find love as an autistic person.
Well done 👍 I'm just realising now (at 41) that I'm probably AuDHD, after finding out my son is AuDHD and my nephew is autistic. There is so much you can and will do in your life. I did so much without ever knowing my identity (really wish I did though) and without support, but had anxiety, many burn outs and a lot of social isolation. Maybe some things are harder for us, but we are a very tenacious bunch and, with a bit of love and support, we can reach our goals faster. Remember to always be kind to yourself and take breaks when you need them. Even if that means putting down the paint roller for a while 😂
I am so happy watching you geek about the reno stages. Your joy with each new challenge and accomplishment is gorgeous. Your outward expression is a very cool mirror of how I feel when doing home projects. They all fill me with HUGE excitement. Late dx'd AuDHDer here and your videos, acting, advocacy, and book have been core to my self-discovery, self-acceptance, and self-celebration. Thank you a million times Chloe! 🫶🏻 😭 🎉 🤓 😻 ✨ 🏳️🌈 🐶 🌞 👏🏻
Well, this is the time it would be really incredibly useful to have experience cooking and all that goes with it, so you could address the kitchen to fulfill your needs the best way you can afford to do so. I’m audhd, and grew up with 6 siblings and a mother with post-polio syndrome, so we all learned how to cook, I’ve been doing it since early elementary, I’m now 52. Perhaps it’d be of value to do some real heavy cooking, baking, kitchen stuff with the kitchen laid out how it is now, including perhaps rolling out sugar cookies and preparing other things that take up counter space, including buying flour, spices, other things: a properly-equipped kitchen is never a bad thing to have! Unless I’m mistaken, you don’t have a budget problem for money, it’s a matter of knowing what you want and need. To have a very functional kitchen doesn’t require you have granite or marble counters, I’d suggest avoiding those so you don’t worry about harming them needlessly. They’re very expensive not only for purchase price, but for maintaining them.
That's amazing! One small siggestion though. Maybe don't attempt everything at the same time? It can become very overwhelming when your entire living space is only partially liveable, especially when you have to wait for a contractor or a certain product to become available before you're able to continue renovating. Just my opinion though. You know yourselves bestt
Never heard of you before but just saw a video about how you got harassed for showing genuine joy. It really is saddening that the general populace is so obsessed with appearances that they can't deal with anyone who doesn't care or is incapable of caring and just end up ridiculing them. Good on you for choosing to protect your sanity against that type of people. Hope it doesn't get in the way of your enjoyment of life. It is rare to see an autist that is succesful at life, without becoming extremely jaded or almost misanthropic.
I hate to be one of those “early” people but I’ve never been this early to a celebrity’s post before especially not one I love so much idek what to say but not commenting anything seems like a waste of an opportunity so hello I love you
When I’m older possibly when I’m 19-22 I’m gonna be looking for a house in Dromana Victoria and try and get a house right near the beach and house on Williams street bc that’s where my beach house is and if you wanna reply saying just live in the beach house! We are selling it due to losses in our family’s and how much money the house costs :(
Was the toilet all alone or was there a sink with it? I never understand why a toilet gets it’s own room with no sink. Don’t you want to wash your hands before doing up pant or opening the door. Am I too germ phobic?
I remember in a video Chloe said that the age expectancy for autistic people is 40-50 years. I’m autistic and so is my dad, I’m scared that we might die early.
