I am fine with mixed foods and different textures and flavours. Yet I grew up only really eating plain foods and beige foods. I couldn’t handle many flavours until I became an adult. So keep trying. Eventually it will become second nature.
Am I the only autistic person here who finds this video lowkey infantilizing? Also, I have no problem with any of these foods lmao. It's largely the textures of certain peppers and onions that gets me. Anything else is fine. Autism is NOT a one size fits all thing and I feel as if the internet is slowly mangling it as well as forgetting about all of the pitfalls we go through almost daily, be they mentally, socially, or sensory

I’m autistic and I’m the polar opposite I hate when food is organized, I hate bland food with no flavor and I don’t like raw textures Since I was little, I like food that’s very spicy, with tons of flavor, cooked until it’s soft and it’s mixed in. Food that’s bland with a crunchy texture makes me vomit I also hate peas; but I’m luckily allergic to them (I can eat some but eating too much makes my eyes red and itchy)
anne was apparently based of the author L.M. Montgomery and her life experiences so there's a likelihood that she (the author) was undiagnosed as she died the year before the first formal diagnosis (first diagnosis was in 1943 and L.M. montgomery died in 1942) so yeah she was probs autistic
