Justin coming to work for the channel is the best. So much quality content back to back to back and projects I never thought would make a return. Keep it up guys
I would put a thermostat an water housing neck in the back of the 6.7 head . Let the coolant flow through the head . No dead-end. Keep cylinders 6 an 5 cool. . .
I'm sure he is well aware of that most common issue with the 6.7.. Nearly everyone that lives in a warm climate just removes or deletes them anyways.. Especially in FL.. If it was a 12v would you have told him about the killer dowl pin too?.. LOL.. You don't need some high dollar banks crap to keep a nut from falling in your engine.. unplug it or throw it in the trash.. My 2013 starts just fine without one even living in Indiana.. Been that way for 7yrs
The very best thing about the 5.9 you just got rid of is that Armageddon time end of the world those mechanical diesels are the only thing that will run. Everything else will be dead electromagnetic pulse. I guess it’s a good thing will already be barbecued by that time.😂 i’m gonna have to say I think this truck is my favorite of everything you have but then again the air boats nice. There you go that’s the package for the spring and summer use the square body as the tow rig for the airboat.
The 5.9 p pump is what this truck needed. With that being said, i probably would've put a 5.9 cr in it. Never the less this should be one hell of a street beast.
Perfect. Time to Duramax swap it. Like it should have been 👌😎. Keep it GM 🤙. Front clips come off in a matter of minutes on a Square body . And far easier to put aside 🤦♂️ .
Very Cool!!!!! Love the mechanical stuff but cant beat a commonrail!!! Dont get caught with those blue parts though lol Are you running the 68rfe adapter plate? I thought they were a little thicker than the 48re version. Also any issue with the pilot hub on the back of the crank?
so after the mud truck, ron, the square body, and burnout truck are done are you going to get the mud truck thats fully caged going the white one that would be cool to turn into a racing mega truck
Its always spray which is either for a build motor or a motor you dont care about i mean when your running big boost and then spraying it then it will fail im not sure why theres so many vehicles that break in your fleet.
I don’t plan to spray this one. Might leave a small shot for a spool jet. That’s about it. If needed. That’s what’s nice about going to the common rail. Should be way more streetable reliable this way.
What adapter plate did you end up using that will bolt the 6.7 to the 47/48 and have the cam seal at the rear? Is it the one from the ppump24v or is it from a 5.9 Commonrail ?
@@warrenmichael918 the motor is toasted or the burnout 12 valve is it still good? Or let's look at the gas motors he has, all of the motors he has are blown up from constant high rpm.
@@MrRosscopeco the 12 valve could easily be rebuilt if he wanted to but the 6.7 makes more sense because it can be tuned for better everyday driving. You mentioned a new block, a new block isnt needed, just better supporting parts if he wants to have a stronger motor.
Youve been dealing with them new powerjokes and dirtmaxes too long sir an old checy shouldnt have to have the cab and front clip off to remove the engine and trans but i guess a lift makes it a bit easier
