Quick note, bicycle rims are less prone to impact damage because the spokes act like very stiff springs. It's why adventure motorcycles all have spoked wheels at the top end, because they handle the abuse from impacts a lot better than alloy wheels.

quick note, the alloyed rim is needed for the motor to work, they are the rotor rods. there wouldnt be much force to expect from that thin spokes. was and interesting journey to disassemble my first euc

@1:39 - doing the same thing on a bike won't do the same amount of damage because the force is split between two wheels/tires/axles instead of one

Great video, I am super keen to try this wheel here in the UK. For me it looks awesome and with the other improvements like IP rating, screen and lights front and rear is going to be a good all round wheel.

It sounds like it handles like a 16x without pads. I don't like the way my 16x feels without pads. I feel like i am going to fall off the front trying to torque the wheel. Put pads on and it's a totally different wheel. My question is, did is wobble on high speed stops like the 16x does on the stock tire? I solved the problem by putting an H666 on it and no more wobbles! Wanting a second wheel and i have been holding off on the Sherman and waiting for this wheel to see what happens and what everybody says about it.

Not much issue with wobbles. Just gotta be sure youre pinning the center of the wheel and doing a slight carve while braking

I'm new to EUC. I'm really surprised they don't come with pads. Seems everyone gets them as an after thought, like EUC is just ok with out them.

The last 3 minutes were really good, music kicked in perfect, maybe (just maybe) try to use some stabilizer to make video more smooth, that blurry mess in the park was so-so, but overall great job! Also, link for v12 playlist doesnt work

Torque issues likely due to 21700 cells and their crappy current delivery., the exn has its third pack use different cells to the other 2 for that extra boost. Or as Lee says do an RST stronger windings/magnets and torque it down, and forgoe that extra top end. 2500W just means it can run forever at 2500W without burning up, if batteries aren’t up to it, you’re not getting 2500W.

I feel like when you use gimbals and steadier shots filming these wheels you don’t get the same feeling of speed and exhilaration watching the video, at least that’s been my experience. Maybe that’s why.

I don’t wear elbow in addition to the jacket as it has pads in it. And I’ve fallen enough to know i don’t ever hit my elbow so i use the lightweight elbow inserts in my LZY rolling jacket.

Just experiment a little. 6:30 sort of says it all; chop up an exercise mat, doublesidetape it up and velcro / doublesidetape it to you wheel. The thing to watch out for is to have enough surface area to bond the pads to your wheel, or else they start shifting, as Law also says.

@@harryhalfmoon I've experimented a ton. Cut up neoprene and exercise mats and done custom stuff with 3D Printing. I just like to see how others are doing it and more importantly how they think about it...especially riders as good as Law!

As someone who has been waiting months for the V12 debut, you guys don't seemed stoked at all. Based on your reviews thus far, the only good thing you have to say about the V12 is that it spells certain doom for the KS16x. All other aspects are mediocre at best. Oh well, going to keep riding my v10 and KS18xl and wait for something much better to come along (or just get the VS already). 👍🤘

I get that. We actually really like it. But as we say, this was an extra critical video, which is needed. But it doesn’t detract from how fun and powerful the wheel is. We just wish it was a liiiiitle bit more powerful.

It really depends. I have V8F as first wheel, bought it solely with 1 purpose - to get to work faster than using xiaomi m365, and I'm almost ok with it, just want something to mess on weekends. By no means I'm technical rider, just casual rides 25-30mph, 60-70km will do for me, and seems like V12 will hit that spot. Sherman is too heavy imho, i wanted ks16x, but now probably will wait for V12, really like design and all that features in app.

Riding an EUC is my dream. And you just broke it. Very disappointing. I lived in bangladesh and there are no EUC. I just watch people riding and EUC on youtube.
