"...My blood and sweat, paid for this land... My life would have been different, if I didn't have a cinnamon pigment", that line send chills down my spine.
Shamere Leonard Actually they don't though... They said "our Hebrew brothers built that" as if we are not the original Hebrews. NEVER the total truth. Always will be something to throw you off
Nope, they fucked up in this one. Did yall catch it? They said the "Hebrews" built the pryramids??? Damn blackish. So many facts in this song and i notice how the lie was slipped in. Other than that nice song tho
@@koukihind2358 i don't care where ou live. you're just as ignorant as uncle ruckus.. No Jews built no damn Pyramids. The evidence is all up and down the pyramids and the nile valley. wake up
realizing all the wrongs of slavery that was extremely hard in the u.s but not only there obviously is important as people in general, you dont need to be american to understand how horrible it all was and how bad racism still is today, you just need to be human
Because there's still a large percentage under. So yeah they gonna complain and protest. White people mad about immagrants and silly shit like kneeling for the anthem
We raised their children Then raised their buildings And they made billions I'm catching feeeelings Really? What else did we build? Railroads, Wallstreet The White House and Universities UVA. We Built that. CHapel Hill. We Built. The Pyramids--No sorry, our hebrew brothers get credit for that. Mazel, let's turn up and get it poppin! Settle down, we still ain't got nothing. We built this. WHoooooaaaaa. We built this. I'm done y'all I'm keep it one hundred. Tomorrow when I hit the field I'ma keep running. We did everythign that the overseer wanted, And if we got paid then we'd be stuntin. Sugar cane, cotton hands My blood and sweat paid for this land. My life would be different If I didn't have cinnamon pigment.
This what all are grandma's and grandpa's went through so if you have a grandma and grandpa love then as much as you can because they are tried and if you want to know why it was slavey. and my name is Chris
I love this song because it explains black history and tells the truth and for people who say that they are racist they are not they are giving you just a little bit of what happened during slavery and we do need to learn about this because even though it already happened we need to see what our ancestors went through in order for our parents to be here and us too and one thing I'm realizing is that black children are not being taught this or just the knowing of slavery period in some public schools this is no offense to white people but it's true and we all know that and it's time for us to wake up and start to learn more about our history
red eyes012604 Just as the song / production was designed to...... Most people have missed the following in that stage:😫 did you not notice in the "blackish" crew production : We built this, that they have planted a subliminal that the blacks inclusive of those in America are different from the "hebrew brothers" "who built the pyramids"..... Tactically depositing a subliminal message to split the black population as if there is any sub group or differences between the Blacks and the Hebrew ...
A O AJIBADE .......notice how the older black women points out that Hebrew Brothers built pyramids.....the bible tells us who built pyramid and older Black Americans believe the bible....thats not put in the song to separate us
Your right, the slaves did build the pyramids The architects who zoned and planned the design and structure did a lot of work too, not to mention the actual price to build this...
Idc what year it is.. 0:22 Anthony: BOY QUIT while he dancing bouncing on the bed sound accurate af 😂😂 love this ❤im responsible 4 half the views.. Shutout to BET 4 putting me on game. I literally been missing out.
@oliverwilson4516 Also if you're born white you don't get to cry about being poor. If you're black you can be a lazy drug addict and blame the white man.
REAL PEOPLE. Yall think these top comments are real? Or you think it's bots liking them? I feel like that episode of Futurama where they went to the bot planet. I am alone
This song is so powerful. I tear up every time I hear it👩🏽🦱👨🏻🧑🏻🦱🧑🏾🦱👦🏻my family is beautiful no matter what shade we are❤️. Love isn’t a color, it’s a feeling 😍
Just goes to show how much our heritage worked and it still had little effect to those who shun us everyday because of our colour.our ancestors did so much to free not just themselves but us and we still have to try and work to have the complete equality
It Is exactly why I tell others not to talk to me about "leaving" the United States, the greatest country that others try so hard to get into. We are entitled to EVERY Liberty desired by those that wrote the Constitution. The United States IS the legacy of our ancestors and it's greatness is the result of their forced labor and enslavement, sacrifices, and even death. As a result, we inherited separation of family, insecurity and inferiority complex, lack of respect between the black man and the black woman because he was not able to protect his woman and children, and lack of ownership of property. Those before us in the 1950's and 1960's had awesome courage and made great strides in turning this thing around and seeking equality that our people earned with every strike on their back, though they did not fully accomplish that mission....Black folks NEVER sought superiority but just equality. Later generations believed that we "had arrived" (at stations of equality and of equal justice) and they became complacent and stopped the move forward and thus put us back to where we were in the 1950's. We are NOT going anywhere therefore our people must accept that they rightfully deserve their citizenship and a piece of "the American Pie," despite what others may think. I do not give up what I had worked for or what my people have worked and died for and neither should you.
AMEN:When I seen this Episode I was MORE than just blown away-recalling when Trump became President and I heard so many African Americans making that statement about moving to Canada - and those "People" are still here by the way. My only response was and will be "This Is My Home" and despite and through it all. I'm going to enjoy what my ancestors Never had the privilege to do.I recall many years ago visiting my grandpa's brother - sitting and talking, how this statement came about I can not recall but I remember his son saying..Dad remembers being sold on the Court House Steps. I looked into his eyes To this day I can not tell you what I felt nor saw. Yes!! My ancestors BUILT THIS. Thank You!!
