Back in the USA and sadly, we always feel it. The pace of everything seems to speed up and life gets a little louder and a whole lot less patient. It always feels so good to get back and yet we always miss the kinder, gentler ways more commonly found in Canada. We will absolutely go back to Olympic National Park in the future! We would have loved to stay longer and see Hurricane Ridge but we booked our entire summer working backwards from a salmon fishing charter in Oregon.
Stay tuned to see if that was a good idea or a regret!
At this point in our trip, we had visited Tofino, Victoria and Olympic National park in the previous 10 days and it was just way too much! We absolutely called that stretch wrong. Give yourself more time than we did in each of these amazing locations!
Do you RV to various hot springs? We love them! Which hot springs have been your favorite? Which campground in Olympic National Park is your favorite?

Wow, I didn't realize how lucky we were when we went to the Hoh Rain Forest! We pulled right up to the visitors center with our Airstream in tow, spent the day there and then went on to our campground! We absolutely loved it!! Thanks for sharing your journey with us!!

Oh, wowwww! Good to know there are times of the year with less crowds! We’ve had great times in some of the more crowded parks during off season. So nice when that works out!

Wow. 3 hours just to get in. Was it worth it? The waterfalls were pretty! - Michelle

Yes!!!! Our choice was to wait or to turn around and drive all the way back to Sol Duc and see nothing since we were tight in time. It is so unique compared to other parks that we are really glad we waited it out.

September should definitely be less crowded! We only had 2 1/2 days but we will absolutely return to spend more time and allow for more areas. Enjoy!!! It’s really beautiful!
