Congratulations on your third child! When I was in high school in the 1970's I had a great English teacher who always had some witticism at the end of class. I remember one that went: Beautiful women had a debt to society, A daughter to replace themselves, a son to replace their husband, and a second daughter to spread the wealth of beauty to society. I am 70% certain she meant this as humor, but she also expressed there was a logic to it. She also always read "Where the Redfern Grows" in sophomore class, and always cried a river at the end.
