Eric Adams *lost credibility* when he claimed at the NYPD press briefing last Wednesday [May 1st] that the police did not _"violently clash"_ with or _"injure"_ anyone because they operated with "precision" and "calm," despite *video evidence* proving otherwise. It calls into question his credibility concerning sexual assault allegations against him. As a black person, he should be familiar with the historical use of terms like *"outside agitators"* to defame and *discredit* the civil rights movement and other legitimate expressions of dissent. Assuming the "flyer" he raised was found at a protest site, _"Death to Israel"_ or _"Death to America"_ - found "during *September 11th"?* - may be considered "offensive," but it is not protected against hate speech. It doesn't target a specific individual or group aside from the government.

And must not finance the demonstrators! -A Post examination of City Council “discretionary funds” show members funneled nearly $2.5 million alone since 2014 to the Manhattan-based Muslim Community Network, which offers “safety-training” seminars to protestors. The group also posted some spirited advice on social media last week on how protestors should refuse police searches and not be “fooled” by the “’good cop/bad cop’ technique.” -Other nonprofits assisting the protesters who’ve gotten a piece of the discretionary pie include The Council on American-Islamic Relations’ New York chapter and the ironically-named Jews for Racial and Economic Justice. The latter - which received $77,000 - helped organize radical protests in and around Columbia University, City College of New York and other NYC college campuses. -In November, The Post reported Big Apple taxpayers shelled out nearly $9 million since 2010 to four nonprofits that helped spearhead anti-Israel protests on NYC streets. -More than $4.25 million - or nearly half - was awarded through Council discretionary funds, including nearly $2 million after a November 2021 general election spawned a mass influx of socialists and other new far-left members to the legislative body. -The big winners still doing city business include Tides Center - an advocacy group heavily funded by far-left billionaire kingmaker George Soros. It’s earned more than $1.2 million through contracts at the Department of Education and other city agencies, but a bulk of its contracts were awarded over a decade ago, records show, R Calder, M Sedacca. Bravo to this NYC mayor for speaking out! I was in NYC during the BLM demonstrations, riots, vandalism and trashing of fifth avenue and numerous neighborhoods around the city. The NYC police were treated abominably in front of us all. And bravo to Mayor Adams who have the courage and honesty to call out those professors, graduate students, and outsiders with money and agendas who are determined, by any means, to stoke this situation at Columbia and many other campuses. I believe some some administrations, and certainly alumni and parents do not realize that traditional "liberalism" is now cowering in the dark in many schools. Most parents probably have no idea how far their "liberal" children have straying into dangerous and irrational ideologies. I hope a lot of families have frank conversations with their children this summer.

Adams would make a reasonably replacement for Biden.

Ask him to provide evidence that the anti-genocide protesters are a threat to anyone; ask him to provide evidence of “outside agitators” (the old argument against civil rights demonstrations that’s always mindlessly deployed) - he could only come up with 2 people, and those 2 were later debunked in terms of being dangerous or agitators)
