It always amazes me how your mama doesn't need to measure and still captures the taste. I know many Filipinos say "should be eaten with rice" this is because most of us are not acquainted with other grains or potatoes as side dish. For me, go ahead eat Filipino food with whatever side dish you think fits. But that's just me. 😜😉😼 Also your cat is so well-behaved in the kitchen. 😻 Also, your ginger is red? I've never seen one. Chicken inasal and pork bbq goes well with atchara…it’s pickled papaya! Ingredients are: green papaya, carrots, garlic,onion,bell pepper, vinegar and sugar and salt. Grate the papaya and carrots, sliced garlic,onions and bell pepper. Mix vinegar ,sugar and salt.then wait for it to boil for about 30 minutes,then add the veggies and cook for another half hour!
Oh lovely,i like your mom💖 she is good,she easily know filipino style of cooking.. you can add some brown sugar or a cup of softdrink like sprite to your marinade,its more delicious and yummy👍
Chicken Afritada,using tomato in can 🥫and tomato paste,onions and red bell pepper, salt and pepper and bit of sugar and knorr cubes…and don’t forget to aff carrots 🥕 and potato 🥔…and mushroom 🍄 (Optional).
