Not Sure if Leg Arms is an Engineerd but he certainly has at least AA, BA, BS, MS, and is working on if not completed his dissertation for his PHD in Fabricobble and PHD in FarmerCobble Rich definitely has a AA, BA, BS, MS, and PhD in Fabricobble with a MS, and PhD in Junkyard Technology and MS in ShadeTree Monkey Works.

Long Long time ago, Komatsu used cummins engines in all their equipment before they started to build their own engines, even now some of the larger cummins engines are cast by Komatsu, at least they were when I worked for them a couple decades ago.

They are all rotting out in Ontario. You can get one for almost free. You can get something like this one for $1200, sell the nv4500 for $800 and get $300 for scrap.

I've seen a few komatsu dozers with Cummins in them . In fact my father used to work for a Cummins dealer and he did several Cummins repowers in komatsu and dresser machines .

Man I thought i was rough until i saw what you are doing with that centre plate shudders , a perfect swap for that cummings would be a 10v deutz or even a 8v they are the only motors you can run in the temp red and love it , no silly liquid cooling to worry about. Just a pity there is not enough room for a 903 but you would have to change all the drive line . Cheers from Australia

I used to work for Komatsu. They did a sort of share/collaboration with Cummins for a number of years, especially the mid 2000s, I can't remember which machines ran Cummins' but I think most Excavs, Dozers, Loaders, etc. Not Backhoes, Skids or Small Excavators - the small excavators (up to 5t) are Yanmar. Even the parts are labelled YAN-etc. In the paperwork, if I recall right the SK820 Skidsteers (the only type Komatsu Australia offers) shares some Yanmar parts around the engine and Exhaust/turbo system.

On a daily basis I saddle up on a 38 Komatsu Dozer it has the little four cylinder Cummins I love this stuff and our front end loaders have the 6-cylinder
