We Discovered an Insane Hidden Talent of This Porsche 911 (Feat. Rob Bailey) 

Porsches are used in rally racing a lot especially in Ireland. I've seen so many it's awesome.

I was definitely most impressed with heli pilot skills. That takes a lot of time and practice to master. Respect.

Zero gravity over the jump means Zero oil pressure when the oil levitates above the pickup screen. Comes back after landing just in time to save the main bearings👍. Those RZR's were doomed from the factory with inverted ball joints on the control arms. 90% of those that are busted on the sand dunes are ball joints. It's like the engineers were drunk on suspension day!

I'm thinking back to mid 80's, the Paris-Dakar road rally. Porche had a 959 in mainly white but striped red and blue. Dual turbos on the engine now. Most impressive was Porches new 4x4 system with of course selectable modes. All this plus a nice bit of travel for suspension made an awesome rally racer for it's day.

That was fantastic, I grew up in the 80's & those years in that time was kind of special in history, life was great, full of promise, great hopes & dreams that could come true. It would be great if today gave us the same feelings of a stress free life.

Jonny, just what I was going to comment, they were part of the picture in World Rally stages for long, probably until the 4X4 revolution started. Then probably the end of Group B throw them out. Some still use them in some 'classic rallies'! They do have a lot of hidden talents, beside being a total classic!

Wait, in Montana!? And this is the first I’m hearing of Rob Bailey… interesting. 120,000 miles isn’t a lot on a Porsche by the way. Buddy of mine has a 2004 911 turbo that has over 140,000 and he drives it to the track, runs events, and drives it home. Probably the most reliable sports car if left alone and maintenance done regularly. Cheers boys!

That was awesome! I love watching Demolition Derby's, Figure 8's and the fast cars especially when they have the big engines that rumble as they pass the grandstands. I used to go to Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA to watch races when I was a lot younger. Now I can't afford to go and it is not something my husband is really into. So now I catch a NASCAR or Indy car race once in a while when they show them on the standard channels. No cable in this house, because we are not close enough to the road for that. Can't wait to move somewhere that doesn't have that problem.

Had an 85 911 for 20 years, up unto until last year. It was my daily driver so I didn't baby it. A lot of friends and family lived out on farms, so it spent a lot of time on bad dirt roads and going cross-country on the farm. Often jumped Accidentally on purpose. Never broke or damaged it. Although I did once have to replace tue rear shocks because on started leaking. Very tough, durable car.
