Very telling video. The directors came across very sketchy. Its very concerning how private businesses are attempting to enforce their policies into public areas to exert control. This needs a push back and people like this auditor are leading the way. If we do not use our rights we will lose them.

"I'm going to phone the police for you videoing in public," whilst videoing in public. You need to read up on GDPR and the seven key principles, N.A. He's broken two of them by recording on his personal device. Data minimisation, integrity and confidentiality.

That baffoon director came out with all the classics - 'secure' building, permission, wanting to check licences, filming houses etc. The only one he didnt say was the filming kids one. Meanwhile the other muppet is blatantly recording you without advising you that he's doing it for you to request a copy under GDPR. Embarrassing. 'Lets agree to disagree' No pal lets agree that you are spouting laws that don't exist.

I also noticed the there were cars obstructing the pavement around their property. Which makes it difficult to people use them especially when the pavement is designed to be used by pedestrians and not cars

It's like a guy pulling you up in the street and asking you. If you have a Driving Licence " can I see it? So it proves what I have been saying for decades. These people might be educated enough to be directors of the company. But they haven't got bloody common sense🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.

Goon 1 asks if you’ve got a licence to film whilst goon 2 stands filming you on his phone on a public path. What an iconic brand being administered in the hands of tool-ends !

It's cheaper for them to call and get the cops out for advice then calling their lawyers.

When they come out saying that filming their building is suspicious, tell them that that has now raised your suspicions of what they could be hiding, so you now need to fly the drone over for a closer look to make sure everything is above board!

12:05 The company is potentially breaching article 8 of NA's human rights by even saying that they would prefer NA not to film their building. The company has no authority over anyone not connected with the business. Even implying something on the presumption that it will be followed is a breach.

I find it so ridiculous that they ask you not to film the building and ask you if you have got a permission and then we have the other guy filming you with his mobile. Where did he get his permission to do that? I find it so ridiculous that they don’t want you to film and you should have a permission. Next time, to make it harder for them, ask them not do delete their film because you are going to to contact the HQ for the film regarding GDPR (I don’t consider he is of duty when he approaches you). Everyone knows every teenager gets permission and a licence to take a selfie. You know when they mention filming a persons house that they don't understand the difference. That guy was really struggling on a very basic level.

2024 is now properly under way with a new NA video. Probably my favourite UK auditor. Auditing is a fascinating phenomenon, and serves a number of purposes. NA's particular skill is in gently and disengenuously and humourously giving entitled, pompous idiots enough rope to puff up and pop their ridiculous little egos. The close ups and little cartoon effects are brilliant. The once a week formula is about right. DJ audits for example shows far too much content, most of which is not all that interesting. I really look forward to my Sunday fix of NA.

8:10 Section 62 of the Copyright Design and Patents Act 1988 specifically removes the requirement to have permission before photographing or filming a building.

The problem is they think that the police are their private security force. And most of the time the police think they are working for these companies as well. Those directors didn't quite get the point about Google maps either.

The building is emblazoned with the company name and anyone can find it, or enter reception but the directors behave as though it's a secret.

It always amuses me when the directors say things like, "We have multiple people who work here who don't want to be filmed and put on social media.", as if working for Ginetta is something to be embarrassed about and will lead to the staff being shamed or ridiculed. Perhaps they have knowingly employed illegal migrants for below minimum wage, or people to work nixxers who are still signed on and collecting benefits. Good on you for exposing these illegal practices.

I know of someone who said that people need her permission to walk past her house with a phone even if it is in their pocket or bag. I told her ok them if that the case then you can't do the same walking past other people's houses without their permission. She said look i can do it and i kmow the law.

The guy filming you was Matthew Lowe, he is the CEO of LNT - owners of Ginetta cars. I think the other chap might be Lawrence Tomlinson who founded LNT, he's also a Director of the British Racing Drivers Club. I reckon you should contact the CEO and ask him for a copy of his footage of you, as top chap he ought to understand how GDPR works in regard to the business he is in charge of.

The stupidity of these people is staggering. What on earth posesses them to believe that filming a building from public land is illegal and would require permission? I'm actually in disbelief. Its like saying you arent allowed to look at the building as you walk past. All a camera is doing is documenting what the brain may not remember.

Wow I thought a local business like that would have grasped the idea that thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people watch these kind of videos. They seemed like a pair of privileged stuffed shirts that were looking down their nose at you. That’s the way they came across to me anyway. You were polite just taking video what’s the problem? Like I’ve mentioned before your videos are the best about with you going and doing night shoots and editing them together. Keep them coming and keep pushing the boundaries because if we all don’t use our right’s they slowly get whittled down and then taken away. P.I.N.A.C. People need educating on the laws, great video. You should have asked for a copy of the video one of the Directors was taking on his phone too, if they want to play it that way.
