Out of all the quads i would probably take the quadrunner oit of all of them. I can vouche for them being little tanks. At least my 87 was. It was a japanese model one too. It had a different carb and exhaust than the other ones
As the owner of a jeep, if she's making that much HP she ain't burning right lol. Loved this video guys! Keep up this cheap challenge content it's hilarious 😂
Love the video. Great to see you don’t have to break the bank to have that much fun. The new crew is great. Can’t believe there’s 3 gingers on the blog now! Keep it up.
I've been in New Orleans all week for work. Staying right on bourbon street. Jazzfest is going on. There is still nothing I'd rather be doing than watching this vid.
Love these videos. Something about the cheap stuff can be more fun sometimes for some odd reason 😂 you guys are a great inspiration and hope someday to have my channel half as good as yours! Keep up the great work
Brother!! The E-TON has given my kids endless house of fun!! Fairly reliable(gotta clean that carb though). And sleep enough I don’t have to worry about them getting hurt😅
I remember my dad being invited out to the Pontiac Silverdome for a ride and drive event when the Syclone and Typhoon were new. It was our first experience with turbocharging and AWD. They let my dad drive the Syclone on his own. Then they had a pro driver take us as passengers in the Typhoon. And I remember that launch feeling almost terrifying, even on wet pavement. Those things are so cool!!
When you guys thank the audience you can really tell its sincere and that you guys honestly appreciate everything your fans do and we appreciate the content keep it up boys 🎉🎉
Dyno the quad racer and the eton too please. I played along and with tbe exception of the Grizzly 600 I was within a couple of hp on my guesses. Im gonna guess 24hp on the quad racer and 12hp on the eton. Fun to play along!
I had an 85 Suzuki quad runner 250 and that thing was great. I could ride wheelie in any gear as long as the road would go straight. It definitely made more then 10hp
yeah it made 11.11 I think they still used a chain back in 85 so might of got a bit more power I had an old 300 with a chain. Now have a 660 grizzly now they are rated around 40 hp at the crank
@@101spacecase yeah I loved that thing but wheelies were my favorite cause it could be 3 mph or 50 mph didn’t matter it was on two wheels more then four🤣
If it’s possible I’d love to buy the Suzuki quadrunner/ “mule” when you guys are done with it. I have a model just like that that needs plastics, rims, speedometer, handle bars, etc. we’ve had it since I was about five and that was my first quad so there’s none around where I live that’s why I’m asking.
It would be interesting to see Torque along the CVT range since ATV's are usually tuned for all mid range torque. 22 WHP in a 500lb machine isn't bad though! its no outlander 1000, but for the time, decent! The 400 2 Strokes are supposed to be able to pick up 10hp with a pipe and rejet, and change clutch to run at a higher rpm. Big problem with the polaris at the time is the High\Reverse shift can be hard to get both gears, its a terrible system where there isn't enough lever travel to engage the dogs on reverse AND high unless its micro perfect adjusted (my 400L has never gotten it right) Try shifting into low THEN into high if its slipping!
a 2003 raptor 660 only made 36hp stock, and my yz125 with exhaust and reeds only made 26.5whp on a motorcycle dyno...suzuki rating that "Mule" at 32 is HILARIOUS🤣🤣
You forgot to apply the "correction factor". Divide the 2-stroke HP by 2 and divide the 4-stroke HP by 4. lol I'm impressed you got them all safely on the rollers.
Mikes is running so close in HP to Dougs but Mikes is so much lighter. So I think he has an advantage there other than any extreme off reading since his is only 2-wheel drive.
Really dangerous dynoing the old polaris all the 4x4 drive train is rotating under power including front axles. If the front hubs build up enough friction to engage it would be bad, entertaining but bad!
Fix the damn banshee!! It got put together and burned down the same week! Seeing a high power banshee actually run good is rare and I think would pull some views!
Polaris cvts cannot be accuratly dynoed on a wheel/drum, inertia dyno number can be totally changed with just clutch changes or belt condition, weights, springs ext. Only really way to check them it with a crank dyno like a land and sea. Just a new belt or change primary clutch spring or weights and it will give you much different numbers. But cool video and i enjoy watching you guys good group keep it up
Ripping the talon though though rocks on 32" terra hooks with Cade. I think was what set deal on me buying a talon 1000r with a turbo set up. If we all could see more with the talon I'd greatly appreciate it. Before looking forward an making that investment. An it will mostly be used in the st.helen an dumb lake area.
I have an eton viper 90 that I got new as my first quad when I was a kid and It is much more quality than any other “Chinese” quad I’ve seen (Zongshen, taotao, ect) I’ll restore it one day and make it a coffee table
Do yourselves a favor on the way home from Indy.... Stop in Butler Indiana at the International Monster Truck Museum... I think you guys would appreciate it..
