You should do a project book for yr daughter with photos and maps and places she’s been to remind her and jog her memory. I know you have video but pasting things in books is a great learning activity and so enjoyable for everyone to share. We did that 15+ years ago and came across the book the other day... amazing and memorable and such a treasure to keep!
Hi guy's looks like your having a great time exploring this great country we have, just a couple of questions, please could you tell me what brand and where to get the seat covers in the "Ranga" and what sort of mount your using for the camera mount on the dash, i have a new ranger and love your set up, cheers and stay safe and keep up the great vids.
Hey John, thanks for following and your feedback, glad you loving it! 😁 the seat covers are from fitmycar.com.au and the mount is just a basic buckle mount double side tapped to the underside of the rear view mirror, nothing fancy 😜 if you look back in our older videos we do a tour of the car if you want to see the in’s and outs of everything we have 👌🏻😁
Thanks Allen, always nice to have some feedback about us as people 😁 79 is not a necessary upgrade to travel over dirt (but it would be a good looking one lol) 🤘🏻
I live on the river inside the national park . My family have been here since at least 1920 and the park developed around us later on. 5 generations and counting
Oh wow that’s awesome! Must be interesting to see all the changes and hear stories through your family over the years. It’s a great spot to be that’s for sure. ☺️
Nice to see there are obviously a couple of jealous people who could put a thumbs down on a family living their dream. If you have the guts put yourself in the comments. Don’t hide.
Hi guys, the round dam used to be the town water supply for Woodgate and Childers many years ago. Too bad you didn’t get to go to Kinkuna camp grounds- it amazing out there! Definitely recommend if you get the chance to go back there.
Yeah of course, I’m hoping this link will work??? If it doesn’t, send us a message on socials and I’ll get it to you that way 🤘🏻 your gonna love it, such a mint spot 🙌🏻 Campground Rd, Woodgate QLD 4660 goo.gl/maps/EJtGphRf5pUqcKyw6
Just stumbled onto your page, may have binge watched all of your videos. Thanks for the content it has been entertaining, hoping to do something similar with my family.
That’s awesome Daniel! I’m glad we were binge worthy, you’ve made my day and editing worth it saying that 😆🙌🏻 thanks for tuning in and joining us on our trip 😁
Hey Peter, they’re awesome! On road and off road they haven’t let us down yet... minimal road noise when hwy driving and it hasn’t affected our fuel consumption too bad either (compared to our last mud tyres anyway 😂) they’re just an all round good tyre, no faults from us 🤘🏻
Great vid folks. Looking forward to following your travels. Can you post a close up vid of your GoPro mount on the dash when you get the opportunity. Keep up the great work. (If you call it work,,,,,LOL)
Thanks for the feedback, glad your loving our content!! We only have one mount inside the cab permanently and it’s a GoPro Basic Buckle attached to an adhesive mount which sits under the rear view mirror. If you google GoPro basic buckle it should come up! Send us a DM on insta or Facebook I’ll send you off some pics/videos ☺️
The location really depends how we deal with it... In some cases we have it sent to the caravan parks street address or PO Box, otherwise we can send it to a post office or parcel locker near our location. It really depends how remote we are and what is being sent. In addition, we also have a PO Box at home where general mail and bills etc go which a family member looks after for us. :)
Great vid. I’m heading to Kinkuna to camp in a couple of weeks. Towing a Jayco Flamingo behind a 200 Series LC. Just wondering how soft the sand was and do you think we will be ok? Coming in from the Northern end. Cheers.
Hey guys, some of the tracks in Kinkuna were great and other parts were soft... we didn’t get up the campsite trail as it was closed due to Covid but it did look soft... I’d just say make sure you drop your tyre pressure and give it the berries so you don’t get stuck! 🙌🏻
Nice, that is on my list of placed to visit. Which van park did you park up at ? Grab some ND filters for your drone, it will help with the bright sun and help you keep you shutter speed at 1/50 to stop jittery footage . Top VID.
We were staying at Trinity Islands over Burrum Heads side, great park and great prices 👌🏻 We’ve heard of these filters but yet to buy any... we need to research them more I think because it keeps coming up, thanks for the tip 😁
Awesome video guys, Woodgate is a great place, was that first part in kinkuna? There’s a couple of good tracks in Burrum, one takes you to the Burrum river as well through the bush
Thank you! Yes that first part was through Kinkuna... we didn’t venture to the campsite area and beyond as the track was super, super soft sand that was pretty untouched during covid and we weren’t prepared for that type of day lol 😂 we didn’t make it into the Burrum portion of the NP unfortunately being an hour drive away and on the other side of the river but, we did check out Burrum town on a separate day ☺️
It doesn't really have a name or link or easy way to find it. These are the coordinates to the side road that takes you directly to it. Copy and paste into Google Maps and it should come up, change to satellite image and you'll see it straight away -25.122834465285532, 152.5087958291015
