For the shoe cabinets - you can paint them a fun color, cover the drawer fronts with interesting wallpaper or add really cool knobs or pulls. It’s like a blank slate!
I want to live in a place that is so walkable that you walk an hour away with baby to buy curtains. Could not imagine that here in the states. Like that walk looked so beautiful and safe.

Thinking long term is a good thing guys!! And also taking time to intentionally purchase items for your home is SO MUCH better than buying something on impulse or without thinking and then you end up not liking it or having issues with it down the road. I just wanted to let you know: it's completely normal to have discussions like with the shoe cabinets, and take a long time to make such (seemingly) simple decisions. My bf and I do the exact same with our house. Some people do it a lot quicker, but we just think of a lot of things before we buy them and in the end it makes for a better home 🙂

He is so awesome with the tools, saw etc. And she is so handy putting together those cabinets and all. Like it's the same as breathing to her, it seems. I wouldn't say they did it all by themselves. Their one friend did quite a chunk of it. They also hired people to renovate the bathroom. They still did an amazing job, I'm just saying they didn't do it all by themselves.
@@erin6945 that's true, but they only hired people for the bathroom because if something got damaged, their insurance wouldn't cover it if they did it by themselves.

Tip for the laundry room. On Amazon you can get really nice and cheap under cabinet lighting. I have it in my laundry room and honestly it’s so helpful!

Camilla, here is some advice from a UK based Pilates Physiotherapist. You must consciously keep walking as normal as possible when you have tendinitis in your foot. If you don’t walk normally, all you are going to do is create problems on your other foot. Unless you can float this may be the best way for recovery 🙈😂

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned but we call it a "curtain rod" in American English, not much better than Camilla's "curtain stick." Love the bookshelves! Have you considered painting the baseboard trim on the bookshelves the same green? I'm just waiting for you guys to do a color drenched room- paint all the trim and the walls and the ceiling the same color- it would look amazing!

If you like your prints with a mat on top to frame the print.....think about custom decorating the mats....or using different colored mats other than white. Mats do set a print off further and add a depth. The large prints of the three of you are gorgeous! 😊❤️
