Watching your daughter help Ilia reworking the roof, is a lesson on acknowledging that you have made a mistake, you stopped, thought the solution out and then rectified it. A huge life lesson that there is always a solution. You impress me so much with the progress you are making, well done

In carpentry it isn’t a mistake if you can fix it 😂 I’m working on two projects right now and had to redo a couple of boards because the cuts were wrong but no one will see in the end so no mistake.

The bees really love the floral pasture. Greg 🇨🇦 I want to add that helping the bees will help these "world's greatest pollinators" increase food production for farmers. Bees have been under stress around the world, lately. We need to help them however possible. Thank-you for the bouquet. 💐😌🐝

Hooray! The roof is done! Now for the rest of this project, then back to the house... At least the inside won't be too weather dependent and might go a little faster. The wildflower meadow turned out so nice!

Oh wow! That roof is really nice. There is a saying, "No mistakes, only lessons." That has helped me to not feel so bad when I make a mistake. Too many lessons in my life though! lol The wildflowers are gorgeous. I love that you planted it that way. The bees seem to love it. Your daughter is so nice to help out. She is a hard worker too. You all should be really proud of all the work you have done.

Congratulations on completion of the roof. It looks great! I bet the beers tasted that much better, afterwards. I've been waiting 2 whole months to see the flowers bloom. I wasn't disappointed! The cats are always a joy to see through out your videos.

Every time I sit down to watch another episode, I think you can’t get any better with the skills you’re learning, but you just take my breath away each time. I’m in awe of your dedication, your skill and sheer doggedness in approaching each issue that arises. To have your daughter helping you also warms my heart. Here in Canada and the States we use what they call a drip edge. It goes on first before any roofing and stop the water from wicking back.

That was very satisfying. It had to be frustrating to take apart and reconstruct the eaves but the rain proves you were right to do it and you were rewarded with a double rainbow. Who knew that gutters could look so elegant?

It would be wonderful if you could find a beekeeper that would be willing to put a bee box on your grounds. Your wild flower field would last forever 🥰 Ilia I agree, there’s no doubt!!! your roof is going to last 100+ years.

We never thought of putting beehives, but after seeing so many bees I want to place a couple. I wonder whether we can build them on our own. I would need to read up how it's done and how the honey is collected.

There’s RU-vid for sure about how to build your own hive and how to attach them 🥰🥰🥰 I do believe you will need to purchase the frames where the bees can start a hive. It’s a frame with beeswax sheets inside them usually 10 per box and you can stack them. Best time of the year is spring. A beekeeper or your local nature preserve can direct you. A lot of times you can have/or find someone that is an avid honey collector help you make your boxes at minimal to no cost except for the wood and your time 😘 My Daddy was a beekeeper ❤️❤️❤️ I’m unable to collect because of my allergies 🥺

Hope Marina wasn't holding the camera at 6:29! 8^) Great job adjusting the fits of things to get the correct gutter setup. Tricky, but gotta have the gutters working well, or there may be expensive issues later... The meadow is wonderful. Cheers!
