We Fishing FOR Bait Or WITH Bait?! Port Aransas bay trip

One of these days I’ll put together an outtake video w all his little shenanigans 🤣 I’m coming over from another brand of camera after learning of some pretty serious security concerns. So far I’m much happier with GP12, just a slight learning curve to navigate which led to a few missed opportunities with the camera this trip - but nothin a lil time in the saddle can’t cure! Thanks Tommy! Man I used to make leaders and had a little system rigged with a cutoff pool noodle but it’s just OK. So far trying these out, I like em! Helps me stay better organized and they tangle way less than even the pool noodle “hack”. Mention me and the fishing show price His crocs LOL! His nana bought him those a “tad” on the big side because this boy is outgrowing things overnight lately….hes really sprouting up.…our baby boy is vanishing before our eyes. As you know too well, it happens faster than it should!

Thanks Ryan! Things seldom go as planned lol. It was a tough outting for sure. Engine overheat alarm came on at the ramp and limited our trip, to add insult to injury, 1 of 3 troll motor batts bit the dust so TM speed and range was cut significantly. 36v motors just don’t run right on 24 LOL In those moments I gotta stay positive because “Little pictures have big ears” 😉 All in all it was a great trip. We’ve got some fun stuff on the calendar in the very near future so don’t go far!

Thanks Wes! These seasonally high spring tides make it look like open water but we wuz actually fishin guts and edges of spoil islands. Sadly w/ the high tides, the better reds git way skinner than Rangerboat can muster without a good n sandy belly rub…no thanks! Had mechanic do 100 hour annual week before this trip - tech didn’t seat the impeller housing properly and didn’t secure 3 coil packs on starboard side which left us with an overheat alarm 🙈. Then we dropped a battery in the 36v TM system. We had to stay close to da ramp with our tail tucked but we scratched out a few scales for picture time. Can’t complain - them Walmart TM batts are 4&1/2 years old and they been rode hard! Thanks for watching! ✌🏼

@@fishing4dinner My motto when it comes to fishn' stuff and boats is there's no such thing as too much stuff and why have 1 boat when you can have 2 at twice the price.....LOL....The skinny boat keeps me in the game because the offshore waters seasons are so restrictive I'd be sitting around waiting to catch something....It didn't use to be that way but the skinny skiff really hedges my bet versus offshore!!😎👀
