I was told by a local it went something like this, In 1983 partly due to overcrowding and racial tensions between ground nesting birds on wallaby island, the younger wallaby's hatched a daring plan to escape by stealing a boat... but because wallaby's have no watercraft skills the speeding boat subsequently crashed after it's propellers ran over a wee lass swimming just off shore which severed her feet and legs thus sealing her gruesome watery fate. A few months later after exhaustive searches the stranded wallaby's were killed cooked and eaten on camp fires by the hungry search party who then after only finding the girls foot did loads of shits everywhere and left.
I was told that they where man eating wallabies n each one stood over 9 and a half feet tall n once one auditioned for the leading roll in godzzlla after he turned down the lead roll in rocky n told the script writer to give it to sly stallone as thay go way back sly n the wallabies. The top wallabie owed old sly a flavour for the time he shared his masses with them all n brought the wallabies a really nice boat 🤣🤣🤣
AL is the absolute boy mate, great advice, don’t just take your litter with you, take other peoples too, offset the negative impact of careless people. Big up Al, true legend, stay up bro 💪
I watched a documentary years ago about multiple feet getting found in a US river system and police thought they had a serial killer loose, then realised they were the feet of suicides who leapt off a bridge and got eaten by crayfish, hence the feet left in their shoes floated once they were separated from the rest of the body and got washed ashore. Maybe it's a drowning victim that got eaten by crayfish....
I remember that story too. Makes me think of that film The Bridge. A camera was set up by golden gate Bridge and ran for a year , it showed footage of all the suicides and then went into their back stories . Quite a disturbing film as you might imagine
Hate to blow my own trumpet but I did a litter pick on my way through the local woods today. I don't always litter pick but when I do I like to brag about it on the internet!
just plain lazyness :(. it gotten to the point where i do have to keep a rubbish bag and picker with me when i go to these places. and they wonder why places become closed or more under a watchful eye.
If ya gonna poo in the woods... You can buy a lightweight folding spade for under a tenna (£10 for those not in the UK...!!!)... Then, dig a little bit of turf up, leave ya compost for the worms, then re-cover...???!!!
:-) * Thanx guys for highlighting the state of the place & the importance of " leave no trace " It really grinds my gears - how people can go to places for the beauty of them , only to just shit all over the place & leave things at their backsides for others to pick up :-( Sending you all the best of wishes from Scotland*
If you need to go... at least dig a hole an bury it ...OMG be respectful for other people and nature 💯 .. now I sound like my age 🤣🤣🤣 but still respect where you are ok 👍can I just add ..I really love watching you guys never laughed so much and since getting to know you I've got to say LOVE love what you do guys 😊💋❤️
Three c$$ts in a punt lol , he's rights about that rubbish it's disgusting when people can't tidy up after themselves, sorry but it makes me rant and rant 😢
While eating a plate full of Yorkshire puddings I found this most entertaining for a Sunday surprise. Hats off to you for telling the tramps to take their shiiiite home with them .
Good video guys, what a waste of a nice boat, how could someone do that? well, you saw it, looked around a bit and headed out. Looking forward to your next adventure. Take care guys, be safe.
30/40 years ago everyone and their dog were buying boats. In the last few years they have passed their usable life, and it costs a fortune to have them towed away and disposed off. So people just dump them.
Not a word about the ruins or the history of the island other than "a foot was discovered in 2015" and "someone ran their boat up on the shore." And "poo" jokes, not one of your best, lads.
I thought it might be their boat and they were pulling a Bear Grills stunt but I doubt they would have left it in the video if they were. Could be a safety thing as well. A lot of the stuff they do is a tad dangerous.
Oh, where has this channel been all my life? Those accents sound awfully close to mine too so I suspect you live or come from near where I live. Nice work.
