After receiving an email from John Doe after months of no contact, the team is eager to reach out and see if he's found anything of interest. And he has: the identity of the body outline that they found in upstairs Red Base. But beyond that, he has a favor for them, one that will force them to take action quickly. But will it all be in vain?

The team continues to search the car, trying to find a way to open the trunk. None of the familiar evidence they gave John Doe is there so far...

There is very little in the trunk, except a lone black journal...
20:27 - On Our Own...
John Doe informs the team that he's going into hiding and that all the evidence was taken. And he leaves them in the dust, killing the email for his own safety.
