Theory: Scott could be stuck in a time loop, always going back to the same thing over and over again to look for those he wanted to help at Syntec.... Question of the day: go to other Syntec locations and try to figure out where Chloe is. Scott seemed pretty passionate about protecting her in the video you guys found. If I was in his shoes trying to find someone that I cared about after, goodness knows what happened to him, I would start searching for someone I knew and recognized ESPECIALLY someone I cared about.

I think he just teleports back in time, like he's in some kind of time loop. He keeps driving and driving untill something breaks the loop. This gave me back to the future vibes for some reason :)

17:08 you can see the car in the background. it might not be the same one but in this situation, it has to be. I also think scott is stuck in a time loop. whenever he goes down that dead end, the time loop resets. putting everything back into the same place it was before he drove away, like the car being parked back in the same spot and everything inside being untouched.

Not possible as if they were in a loop the things they moved would have changed places again and him showing up would happen again and the days before this the same thing would happen it’s possible that they just entered the time loop but that can not be confirmed not only this but we have seen people and cars disappear before

This is has got to be a time loop. The car, teleported, the briefcase teleported. Also, the car looks exactly the same as the first time you found it, down to the amount of soda left in the bottle and position of the candy.

Theory: Scott and his belongings (the mountaineer and the briefcase) appear to be in a time loop. Maybe the Absalate was actually a key for a time travel device syntec was working on and whoever stole it knew that and used it activate the device. Try disrupting the loop by parking another car in the spot where the mountaineer usually parks, or place a tracker back on the car and observe it's movement when Scott drives away.

Theory: there may be a time lope that Scott is trapped in that may have started his confusion which may be why the briefcase left the vault and the car disappeared (at the end of the road) like that. And how Scott still looks to be in his thirtys after 20 years. All this could have been caused by the serom after affects.

I believe what's happening is that he is reliving the same moment over and over so he will get in the car and go through a invisible tunnel to spellbound then goes back to park his car in the same spot. I think this will happen over and over and there's something like a curse or something there.

So here is something you all have forgotten. In the early days of this series we heard Deb say that this timeline was the correct one. In Scott's briefcase there was a book on quantum physics which relates to time-travel. If syntec worked on a serum that did all of this who is to say the government didn't enlist them to also work on other projects like time travel as side projects.

What you should do is put the new mountaineer in the warehouse with the other one and have a camera on it at all times so the next day if another one shows up or the one in the warehouse disappears you will know if it's the same one or not.

Theory: Is this some sort of time loop? If so maybe he'll come inside the building confused again. Also if there's a camera in the vault watch back the footage of that, to find out when the case disappears, if there isn't a camera for the vault then you need to get one.

That's for sure some kind of a loop. A suitcase keeps reappearing in different places as it is tied to Scott and the mountaineer, who are also in a time loop. Approach him next time and ask whether he has seen you before.

@@ShaimingLong maybe scoots is not in a loop in the way that he's doing the exact same things but his objects or maybe the car is in a loop he must start in the same place be walking to his car and the car is the thing making him do the same things scots just reacting to the loop over and over how he naturally would. but then Mathias looked through the car and they must have put it back the wrong way so he reacted differently i also think that the loop might not be eveyday but in some kind of pattern my new theory is that in the original loop he might not see his briefcase in the back so he drives back to get it but since they moved things around he now sees it and instead goes to work it might not be the briefcase BUT HEY THAT'S JUST A THEORY A FILM THEORY

Theory: A time loop is happening!!!!!!! Like Groundhog Day. When it hits a specific time or place it resets for him, living the same day over and over and over again maybe without him knowing its happening to him. Or time travel is happening. Either is possible with Quantum Mechanics.

Thoery: Scott is indirectly walking the walk, as in he's trying to back track all the way from "his time", which is opposite to our time now. He is basically not wasting time because he thinks its just his hallucination and he has to understand what the "other guy", who was in the lab with him, or what Syntec was doing when he was gone. He gave away the suit case because he thinks its pointless now that he's in our present time.

Theory: Scott, the car, and the briefcase might be stuck in a time loop. The video from when this first happened could have been apart of it too but now that you interacted with him, the car, and the briefcase it’s in a loop. Two things that should be top priority to check. 1: you have a camera set up in the vault, you've viewed it before. CHECK IT! The case might be seen stolen or magically disappearing. 2: Just like with the first Mountaineer, put a tracker on this new one and pay attention to the traveling patterns. See if it teleports or if it ends up being placed somewhere and a new 3rd Mountaineer shows up. (that being if Scott moves it again)

Theory: It's got to be some kind of time loop. He's stuck in his last routine before going into serum coma or something like that. Maybe the antidote tore a hole in time and space when it brought back so many to their present day selves. So if he's walking to the mountaineer, drives it around the corner and poof it would reset him, the briefcase and the mountaineer to when he was driving behind the base, which we see on camera, then it gets reset back to being parked in the lot where wes was murdered. It would happen at the same time every day.

Theory: Maybe he's in a Time loop, it would kind of explain how the briefcase disappeared and ended up back in the car, and how he got back to the studio so fast, the start of the time loop begins when he gets to the studio and ends when he makes that turn, and could explain the weird parallels.

I could never put my finger on why, but now I think it's the soundtrack; the ominous ambiance really adds to the talking bits, and the high paced electric music really adds to the action bits. Theory: i feel like we are definitely dealing with multiple mountaineers. remember we read that the employee vehicles were identical red mountaineers? what if since Scott came back, everyone is trying to come back too and once they see that it’s not syntec anymore, they just leave and drive away. also, Scott could be stuck in a time loop of some sort. that would explain the car and the suitcase.

I've been looking at the redit and the suspect/evidence board as well as the theories here. The only explanation that makes sense to me is a time loop. If he comes back and says again that he was "there yesterday" then that's confirmed. If he comes back and remembers you don't let him leave. Ask him what year he thinks it is cuz this could infavt be some sort of time loop or time travel he is stuck in. He's also probably scared about what's happening to him.

yeah this has got to be a time loop. everything multiplying, it just all lines up. i think the loop reset as soon as scott turned into the dead end, the car went back to the lot, the briefcase went back to the car, and scott, soon enough, will probably come back to the studio with as much confusion as last time.

As a fan of the supernatural you should: A: Put a camera in the mountaineer or where he disappeared and put a camera in the vault pointed at the case. B: Put a tracker on the Mountaineer or hide a camera in there to see what goes down(yes a lot of cameras I know). C: Try to talk with Scott about what he does when he leaves to hear his story but if that doesn’t work, continue with the rest if possible.

I was thinking time loop as well, maybe something similar to ground hog day. Maybe Scott himself is stuck in a time loop which would explain his confusion, the disappearing briefcase and the mountaineer showing up at the studio not even a minute after they lost track of him.

Another theory for Scott is he was undergoing cryogenics which is when you are frozen to preserve your body for extended periods of time. If this is true then it could have been Syntec trying to stop Scott form helping Chole escape or possibly something else. Just a thought because time travel seems really unlikely because if it was time travel Scott would most likely still have a sense of the date and that he had time travelled.

EXTREMELY CRAZY THEORY: You know how Scott’s car and Wes’ car have the same VIN number? What if the car that they thought was Wes’ car was actually Scott’s car and maybe, just maybe, Scott was the one that died. Probably because it was dark, Deb didn’t see the face and thought she killed Wes, so Wes is alive. It wouldn’t make to much sense though, because why would Scott have the Abselate? Idk probably wrong

Unless Scott didn’t have the absalate? It was found in the grave by the phantom but there was no proof a body was there and even if there was maybe Deb or Wes put the absalate with him because they knew it was too dangerous for Wes to keep wearing and burying it was the best way to hide it

Theory: What if Scott is looping in time and him and the mountaineer are in a loop of time until the next step is complete. Like time is repeating itself to stall for something else that is needs to happen.

Scott and his belongings have to be stuck in a time loop. That’s the only way the car could have miraculously teleported back to the studio before you could even turn around!

I think everything happening is stuck in a time loop and the same day will keep happening. You have to figure out exactly what to do to get out of it. Maybe talking to Scott and helping him move on will get you guys out of that Groundhog Day

this is giving me serious npc vibes. like how a npc keeps resetting after an interaction. that would explain why they didnt see the mountaineer even after they followed it; that turn was like the reset point and he goes back to his loop and starts every "day" by circling the back of the studio and parking in the exact same spot. it also explains why the briefcase disappeared cuz it went back to its original spot. there must have been a glitch in the system causing scott to walk into the studio that day instead of doing his usual routine. the timeline seems do be a few days long considering how after scott entered the studio and left his briefcase, it took a few days for the briefcase to disappear and for the mountaineer to move around. or it could be that someone took a few days to "fix" the "glitch"

Weirdly enough that brings up the fact that either this is multiple timeline stuff and his timeline is messed up OR its like a computer simulation. Both would explain why Sam, Woods, and Matt's info was in documents some way before they were born.

THEORY: ‘History repeating itself’ ‘being stuck in a time loop’ or/and ‘action/reaction’ constantly doing the same action an getting the same reaction. my advice: if you are going to wait for him to get in the car and drive away, get in a phone call go whit 2 after him and leave 2 at the studio then you can confirm if there are multiple cars.

Idea/theory: Hide a camera in the mountaineer and on the outside of it. Knowing that he went past the dead end, he could be in a time-loop that just reset. Also, weird theory, if he is living in the past, that dead end could’ve been a full road back when he worked for syntec and he therefore traveled as if it continued, but that still doesn’t explain the car reappearing. Also who is to say there aren’t more than two of that same car? If there are two of the same, why not more?

My theory: the bases were syntax used to be is stuck in some type of time loop, shutting everything off sent it through the loop 20 years ago that's why everything that was other happened or existed 20 years ago is returning.

(for the question) it depends on which side of syntec he was on. if he was on the bad side he could’ve gone to location 3. if he was on the good side he could’ve gone to the location that sam and woods went to when you split up, assuming that was deb’s kind of workshop just to see if anyone was in either place.

Theory: We are dealing with a time loop. Thats why the Mountaineer disappeared in the dead end - because it was the end of the current loop and then reappeared at the studio. That is also why there are multiple briefcases and why it keeps circling the studio. Check to see if the code matches the briefcase you have and if the contents are the same!
