You and your girls are the most down to earth family I have ever known., there you all are without any luggage happily doing the sights of NY, with clothes that dont fit and no makeup and not the least bit pretentious, Making the most of your trip filming it all for the ones who will never get to see NY, as any sight seer would go to see. And to add to all that had the stress of delayed flights and the mucking around by the airline, and you still you all make the most of it. What a wonderful example of a loving family you all are.

The Radfords go to New York and the only thing that excites them is the junk food. Too funny. This was the most enjoyable video yet.

A great vlog Sue and ladies, nice to get a detailed tour of NY. Yes cabin baggage is the way to go for a few days. Enough old undies you can through away for the time away. A couple of tshirts, a pair of pants, socks, stick to one pair of shoes. Toothbrush & paste. For a short time it’s enough. You can buy heavy material plastic cabin baggage now so can take around 6 kilos on board. Well worth the not having the worry of luggage loss. Take care from downunder. 💗🌸💗🌸💗🌸

I learned from experience, Always fly with your clothes in a carry on! You can pack a couple of weeks worth ( I have traveled to Italy for 2 weeks w/carryon). The only good Oreo is a package crumbled up in a food processor, add a block of warmed cream cheese make into balls then freeze,dip in melted chocolate for a truffle.

I’ve followed you guys for years and really admire the work you’ve both put in to finance you lifestyle. I really don’t mean this as horrible but I really would love to you show any of your Charity project especially with the teens involved giving back to Community.

In Easter 2001, we visited the WTC and I have a video of my children playing in the lobby and on the golden globe. I can't bear to watch it for more than a few seconds.

I am glad you saw our lady, the Statue of Liberty . If she had been bombed on 9/11 I think we would have gone after them ourselves. If you arrive by ship that is the first thing you see coming to America . the area of the Twin Towers is so sad . It was a horrible day . We went to bed not knowing if 1000 was dead or 50,000 . The Flight 93 is another plane to visit . It's in Penn.

It’s so funny to see you guys in the grocery store oohing and awing over the American products. I too love to visit grocery stores when traveling. When I went to New Orleans I brought back 2 gallons of gumbo from one of the restaurants I ate at every day I was there. You need to know how absurd it was as I’m single and live alone!

God I feel your pain , we went on holiday travelling with BA and our cases were not put on our flight day 5 it turned up only there for 7 days. But looked like you had a lovely time 🥰

My Nana said the states were just like Wales when she came over from Ingatestone when we were kids! Because of the fog. Welcome to the states in the north! If you don’t like the weather just wait a few hours and it will change and usually not for the better! I had people I graduated with in the tower’s that died. It is weird to see the memorial and their names.

It smells like weed because its legel in New York State. This is what we call a little bodega. It has everthing you need. I am from upstate NY and only have been to the city twice. It very crowed and bust. I hope you have a nice time in NYC.

Love your vlogs. When your flight canceled in London and you went to baggage claim and was told it was at a different terminal to claim it you should have went then to retrieve it. The person should have never told you that it would be on your next flight in the morning. When traveling Internaional there must be a positive bag match to each passenger etc. So your bags were tagged for the flight that canceled therefore those bags had to be rechecked in with the correct tag with flight number and record locator etc. I hope that helps what I tried to explain.

Both my great grandparents and my husband’s grandparents came through Ellis island from Gloucester.

The Stature of Liberty is pretty in the mist! 🗽🗽🗽 I went there, up in the crown, back in 1977 when I was a kid. I've never been to Ellis Island, but I'd love to go!!! The husband of one of my dad's cousins was working on one of the upper floors of Tower One on September 11, and they've never found anything of him. So tragic! 😥 ON H, NO about your luggage!!! I hope you can find it once you get back to Heathrow!!! 🙏🙏🙏 The Rockettes wwould be fun!!! There's a big weed sheep in downtown Savannah, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida too!!! When traveling its always the local snacks!

I wonder if you know this, there’s a place on Merseyside called Birkenhead, it’s across the Mersey from Liverpool, there’s a park called Birkenhead (you’d never have guessed it 😮) park, Central Park is modelled on Birkenhead park, which is the reason why John Lennon bought a flat overlooking it, it reminded him of home!

We went to nyc on 24th Nov 2022 for a birthday treat for me my husband got me it 2 years ago I'm so glad we went but we didn't do statue of liberty ww went to the ferry part n took photos , we did 9/11 though and did empire state building, also went to Central Park to the clock near zoo , and also did macy's toy store, and rockafella but didn't go up , that's for next time trip for sure tho we also went to Carlos bakery that was yumyum , as we wanted to see how many things we could do in a wheelchair so next time is all the things we didn't do

I was slightly older than Katie Ellie and Amy when I first went to NYC and I couldn't contain my excitement so I bet they were super happy and excited ❤️ OMG the weed. I HATE IT too. When I travel I feel as tho im between a rock and a hard place. Re I wanna explore the world and learn about it but at the same time i HATE the weed smoking so much. It's so normalized on indian beaches. Even in people's homes when they have young children!!!!!!! That was a massive culture shock for me. Fortunately the beaches are only like that at weekends and not during the week. Ohhhhh Sue I'm soooo HAPPY that ur vlogging and u also have a tv show coming up! I wanna tell you something....... Guys thank you so much for the tour around some of the sights in New York. My 20 year old son and his girlfriend are going at the end of January so I have passed on some of the things you showed us for them to go and do/see. Did you just get a yellow cab from the airport to the hotel? Any tips you can share to ease a mothers mind Sue? 😅

Sue don't forget to write a letter of complaint to the airline. I believe it is still illegal to travel without your luggage. This happened to us. We were told at first that they didn't know where our luggage was when we went to the carosel to collect it but they will try and locate it. it rurned out that our luggage had not been on the flight. However it was luckily returned to us at 5am the next morning. We were give free return tickets to be used in 12 months after our letter of complaint. It looks like you had a great time nonetheless.

British Airways are now more well known for losing luggage than anything else! My brother was a baggage handler for them for over 30 years. He was made redundant along with many of the experienced staff during the pandemic and this is the result.
