Seeing this young farmer stand against tyranny is so heartwarming. Much respect and admiration to him and all who showed up with tractors to support him.
This is one of those lowkey small town problems that now has a whole world able to see it unfold in a high quality documentary style. I swear this dude has Napoleon Dynamite type conceptual ideas
So much support. I’m originally from Vermont, huge dairy farm state….our school had a “bring ur tractor to school day”. Always a good turn out and good spirits. We need to support more farmers. A lot of people unfortunately don’t comprehend how much work goes into it being a farm.
This is the exact reason whistling doesn't get the respect he deserves, he is someone that absolutely destroys most things that he touches, which is hilarious, he's also is the guy you want in your corner when you've been wronged, he didn't even know this kid but put in this amount of effort to help him out, respect to this man for sticking up for what's right.
This is how you handle issues by peacefully protesting in large numbers to get these laws/policies changed. Large companies/organizations do not want negative publicity aired worldwide.
Crazy thing is… In a lot of small towns they specifically have ‘Drive your tractor to school days’. This is done to encourage kids who are planning on farming as a career. Just remember, no farms - no food
My high school used to do that (probably still does, but it's been a while since I was there). For my senior year I borrowed the largest 4wd tractor (duals & all) that the dealer had and drove that in. It felt like it took up half the parking lot.
Message: DON'T MESS WITH FARMERS! Even if they don't know each other, they are FAMILY! And they will back each other up until the cows come home. VICTORY!!! I LOVE IT!!!
"I wish someone was there for me when I was your age" says WhistlinDiesel! I agree! When I first seen the channel, I was a little disturbed by seeing the careless damage to vehicles. Then there was a video where WhistlinDiesel opens up and explains how this came about. It is exciting to see the channel grow but there is nothing better than seeing his powers put to use towards helping people in communities that need it. Great work!
@@sanfordwilliams2054 they are, they just sold you out, happened in Croatia 🇭🇷 long time ago, still is like that but much worse, enormous population loss 📉 all smart people left
Accountable for what? Upholding the law? Most states only allow 14 year olds to drive tractors on their parent's land. To drive one on the road requires an actual license; minimum age 16. Unless the law is different in this state, the cops were in the right, and this was just a mass temper tantrum no different than BLM freaking out because someone was shot whilst breaking the law. Sure would suck if WhistlinDiesel was completely aware of this, and conveniently left out key facts, like the school being the one who requested the impound as the little shit took up 4 spaces in their lot. I mean, he certainly could have requested the police report, or at least freaking Googled.
@@bbureau12 you are incorrect there are no laws on driving a tractor you do not have to have a drivers license to drive a tractor on the roadway so there for he broke no laws at all what he did was legal so there for the law intervened when they had no right to do so as he did nothing wrong at all. And Blm fuck shit up and attack ppl and ruin and destroy property hardly the same there bud! When the law act outside of their law and what they are allowed to do we can not allow them to get away with it. You give a inch they will take mile. We have rights that we have to stand up for. Im for police by the way as long as they do not infringe on our rights. But you sir are incorrect.
My fav videos he makes are the ones like this. Giving back never gets old. And the way he does it is so awesome. He made going to school the most awesome thing ever. As a father of 2 teens, I love this kid.
The fact they named it "tractor day" is so freaking cool. You actually created a holiday. I'll make sure to remember every may 9th to inform people about tractor day and its history.
This is legitimately heartwarming. This kid is going to have one heck of a story to tell his own kids one day. Props to you for standing up for him and for what’s right, Cody!
If this is what Kody’s channel turns into, fighting weird social injustices like the fucked up justice system by being petty and obstinate then I am totally here for it.
Kody, I have the application to United States presidential candidacy in my hands-your name is fucking on it. I mean, “Kody” is all I’ve got, but that’s your name! Now give me the rest of the info, or fill one out for me-your running for president.
Hi Whistlin I absolutely found you video amazing. I'm 71 and started driving a tractor when I was nine on a farm near North Battleford Saskatchewan Canada. I drove tractors to town 10 miles away never saw a police car and never got stopped. I feel sorry for the 14 year old who had his tractor impounded. Good luck with your tractor races. Cheers
I love when the kids dad says that it's $325 out of his sons pocket. That to me shows how well he's raising his son. I'm sure that kid is a hard worker and his dad is proud of him!

Good job dear brother! You are doing the Lords work! For the Lord saith, let there be a disproportion amongst the primary wheel and the hinter one... And let the vehicle`s frame be the engine and the gearbox themselves... And so it was, and the tractor first belched its black smoke, and the farmhand was pleased, and the Lord was pleased, and both rested with a blessed smile like a ray of morning`s sun on their face...
That $50,000 couldn't have gone to a better person than Jack... Seems like a great guy! I visited his RU-vid channel to watch his video he posted about his win, and scrolling through the comments it was sad to see several people making fun of him because he is a little different.
As a student who both goes to Norwich High school and is in a few classes with Braedon, thank you for doing this. He is a really nice guy and he didn't deserve to have that done to him. Glad everyone stood up for him!
If I had lived in that town, well, let me just say that my response would NOT have been as peaceful as theirs. I brook no harbor with corrupt government officials, bullies, abusers, and tyrants.
You are fucking brilliant. I'm half way through this and just have to say. Keep doing everything you're doing. This world is a joke. And watching you show that fact. Is amazing every time. If I see you in public. I will wave. And totally ignore you out of respect.

@@Lxndon11 Bro, you are the problem... "You cant use tractors as a means of transportation"... SAYS WHO? The GOVERNMENT? This law was only intended for big cities due to traffic. @UC5srqFnQUBVbkPeQpIeigDQ I did when I was 12, I really ran the roads when I was old enough to get my license at 14. There was a group of us that ran the roads on the farm tractors from our farms.
This is excellent. I was one of those kids that drove his tractor to school and high school. No one should have a problem with this. It's like they want all the damn kids just to stay inside and play video games these days
You, sir, are a LEGEND. I am 58 years old but I am not one of those "boomers" who get mad at you (like the guy in the boat who was mad at you in your last video). Heck, I am jealous of you! Having fun, living life, and doing good deeds. God bless and be safe!
Holy crap guise, dare I say we found a based boomer in the wild?! 🤣 Yeah that boat owner was pizzed and it was funny as hell! He definitely seems like he's not the type to care about seeing how ridiculous he looked but it's now forever in our hearts! 🤣 Have a blessed day based-boomer!
As long as its a farm vehicle it’s 100% legal. I was driving huge grain trucks on the road years before i got my license. Even semi’s driven by 14 year old going from farm to farm is legit. Most times the only stipulation is that you stay in your county.
Also depends on the city Texas towns usually cool unless it town that Ben through gentrification. Like shitholes like Austin . Were hipsters and other non local residents will start crying about tractors on the their streets.
Funny this come up today. Police impounded my ATV for towing my firewood along the highway, I showed him the regulations saying I'm allowed to travel between trail heads. Then he come up and said well I'm going to be impounding it on the fact you were driving ON the highway, not along the highway.... with 400 yds of my tracks on the shoulder of the road but I apparently I took too long to cross but he couldn't show me a law saying how I should or shouldn't cross. He rather I cross at a 90, instead of a 45. It was a blind turn, had I crossed at a 90 he would have ran into me LMAO Glad you did this for the kid, them police need some attitude adjustments and you did it without any violence... Good on ya, young man!
My high school literally had a day of the year where every farm kid drove a tractor to school. The school would block off the whole front street for them.
I bet they used the reason of.. "not used for farm work while on road" ..excuse.. wich is technically true.. so to not let the town drunks with DUI's.. to use their tractors or riding mowers to go on a beer runs legally..💯 but this is a whole different situation.. they was wrong for getting a farm kid 💯🤙
Yeah, he drove it to school, didn't wreck anything, didn't drive it drunk, literally did the most responsible thing and went to school and got punished for it.
You know, in VA we had a guy for 20 years who would drive around our little podunk town in an ancient lawnmower. He never used anything else. The blade had been taken off, and he'd put a tiny trailer on it. You know what the cops did during those 20 years? they got to know him they met him and laughed, smiled as lawn mower man drove down the road. they'd bs with him and shoot the crap when they saw him he became sort of a celebrity in our redneckville. He passed away recently and for some reason, this video makes me think of him quite a lot. Im thankful lawnmower dave was in VA and not there.. because our police officers are actual police officers..
This kind of thing needs to happen every time the police try and overstep their positions. They’ve gotta realize that they’re part of the community, not above the community, and that the community will police the police back when necessary.

That's insane. Every year in Utah, there are several schools where ALL the farm kids are invited to bring their tractors to school. We usually end up with about 50+ tractors. It is pretty great to see.
Same here. There is a school district north of Mansfield, Ohio where I live that has a tractor day. I was jealous because my school just to the south of them didn't have one.
I have to be honest. I'm 63 and haven't really heard of you before but this video came across my recommendations so I gave it a watch. I like anyone that can make me laugh and I found myself enjoying the humor throughout. Plus, Norwich is pretty close to the small town where I'm originally from in upstate NY (anything that isn't NYC is upstate), so I can definitely relate to these people. Small town cops, smh. I think they get a bit bored sometimes or maybe they just don't give a lot of thought to their actions. Sometimes that badge can give them an inflated sense of what authority they actually have. How TF is driving a Tractor on the road illegal ?!??!?!? I was a cop in Ca and the first rules of the roads discuss horses and tractors having the right of way ?!?!?!
As a resident of Fonda ny which isn’t far away at all. @@FiglioBastardo Farmers diesel isn't charged the road tax, hence the reason they aren't allowed to operate them on the road. Any "farmer" would know and understand this. Road legal tractors have plates and use road legal fuel.
@@farmerboy9029 Exactly, and they are not allowed to drive on the public highways. Just think if this kid, through no fault of his own, was involved in an accident, there would be no insurance for those that were injured. Or property Damaged. Who was the stupid cop who said it was illegal to drive a tractor on the road? Not only am I a former Deputy Sheriff, I grew up on a farm here in New York state. its a grey area, you can drive farm equipment on roads but it has to be for a farm related reason and using a tractor as a primary means of transportation is not legal.
I am 61. As a kid, I used to move tractors on the farm roads to other pastures. I was not a dumb a$$ and never had a wreck. Now, spending a full day plowing? That can grind you down mentally. Anyway, good on you for standing for freedom and speaking out. We live in a tyrannical country these days.

Thanks for getting involved in this tractor debacle. The police need to be reminded occasionally that they are public servants and not public harassers. I thought that it was common knowledge that tractors can legally travel on the roads without license plates.
I don't know the rules in NY, but in Ohio you need to have the orange triangle (Slow Moving Vehicle) sign. I'm not sure if you need to have a driver's license or not.
WhistlinDiesel is the only RU-vid Creator that I hear other Creators openly admit they watch religiously. I don't blame them. Cody is much more wholesome than one might think. But at the same time, he's a beast!
Yes, but at the same time his view on politics seem to be either extremely exaggerated in order to play a character or he has some really weird beliefs.
Whistlin diesel is a character, I'm sure hes much different in real life. He makes entertainment for views. Theres nothing wrong with that, but anything he says in a video should be taken with a grain of salt.
Fucking Jschlatt mentioned Whistlin in a stream the other day. He never said whether he watches him or not, but at the very least, the algorithm showed Schlatt some videos and he watched enough to get an understanding about Cody's channel. Just thought it was kinda funny

20 years from now, some HS freshman in Norwich will celebrate his first Tractor Day and learn the glorious history of this holiday. And it's all because the cops were complete assholes that one time. This is my favorite part about all this.
