Fedex does not care about it's employees. Due to their negligence, I lost a pinky finger and now I won't be plucking strings on my guitar the same way...less in fact since I used to play Flamenco style. They left me to bleed after I was blown off the truck as all the trucks are improperly loaded and not secured. I flew 9 feet through the air and after I hit the floor, not one person in that warehouse asked if I was okay while I was bleeding. No ambulance ...they stuffed me in an employee's car after 30 minutes of debate about what to do. Then...the employee/driver could not find the hospital. He drove into TDK corporation as I told him..."There's no hospital here...this is TDK." Anyway... Fedex was fined with two violations... Failure to call for an Ambulance and Improper load of trucks with no safety straps securing the loads. What did I get for losing a finger...? Nothing except medical attention and surgery. Since it's Workman's Compensation, you're screwed. You get NOTHING. Think easy on this one...it's a no-brainer when children are running the show. You are nothing but a slave/animal with zero rights. Found out a visitor was chewed up by one of the roller gear machines that was supposed to be turned off for repair. It seems that whomever had the key turned it back on before any repair. The woman got caught in it and she was chewed up alive. This happened in around early 2016 according to the employee that shared this in orientation. There's quite a bit more...best wishes to anyone that decides to put their life on the line for a corporation that could care less if you live or die.
I work at the Orlando hub and I pulled my back out and I was instantly pulled from the trailer and they brought me to the hub office and treated the muscles in my back affected. Ice, advil, massage and all. They restricted my lifting weight and had another person in my trailer at all times for a week!! Which hub was yours cuz damn that's crazy. Most times people just faint at my hub. The worst thing that happened while I've been working here is someone twisted their ankle. I've heard of broken toes, feet, someone getting trapped under a heavy box but a person being chewed alive by rollers? That's pure negligence. Someone didnt do their job. I'm so sorry about your pinky I cant believe that they didnt call the dr on call at your hub. We have a doctor in the hub on call.
That was your experience. My Fedex has been nothing but great even when I was injured on the job. Every company throws their employees under the bus. It is not rocket science
he shouldnt do that fedex sry b**ch is going to lose him somewhere or deliver him some where else and if they going to treat him like a package be sure he will have a broken leg or arm because fedex dont give a f about ur package
