It's funny that you asked if the couch was sturdy enough for that, because behind the scenes it apparently wasn't. Nicola and Luke who played Colin and Penelope were so vigorous during filming that they actually broke it! Not joking. 🤣

I am so happy to hear you say something about Hyacinth and Lord Kent (foreshadowing). I have read the books and know who she is supposed to end up with. Now, the Mondrich family is not in the books and they could change her story for the show to include Lord Kent. When I saw that scene, my immediate thought was that is what the writers are going to do. Just not sure how they will make her story (because her love's story is tied to his father, if I remember right, who was not a nice man--unlike Mr. Mondrich who is pretty awesome).

So wrong of Pen to sleep with Colin before being honest, and to announce their engagement in Whistledown the next day - still without telling him. It’s salt and spicy pepper on the wound after the Marina thing. He had good reason to feel manipulated, even if that wasn’t her intention.

Yes, it most certainly is weird when a pet is watching you have sex. It's even weirder when a small dog comes up stairs they've never gone up before and surprises you by trying to jump up on the bed. Maybe it doesn't ruin the mood exactly, but it does interrupt you. Gotta keep that door closed lol

Just watching for your commentary. This season was a disappointment. I didn't like the season 2 betrayal between Kate and her sister but this took the cake. Writing was all over the place
