Sarah, in Feb 1988, I lost my beautiful mother at 54.. I was having my first baby and I couldn't tell her, then in Sep the same year I lost my dad at 54 also.. my beautiful priest visited me several times as I nearly lost my faith too, he told me , we must not ? Why God has taken them so young , he needs them and throughout life you will become stronger... It was a terrible year but in November my daughter Margaret was born named after Mum..we call her Maggie..after such sorrow we were blessed with a beautiful daughter..I always remember Father Terry's words... 🙏

Sarah, I've lost 10 babies, 3 of which were 12 weeks or more. My husband and I have 9 children here with us. I've done cytotec three times. I'm so sorry. How devastating. Im a mama of 12. We lost our sweet Sam at 18 weeks and it completely changed me. I nearly lost my life as well. Went on to have our last (a boy also) 15 months later at the age of 43. God is faithful Sarah. Praying for you all.

I'm 47 and my 2 kids are married at 24 and soon 26 ! Why and no way at the age would I want little kids . I don't even care to hear them cry ! In person . No way that right to the child to have to care for a parent , in their young fertile years ! It's sad being mom is 70 and I'm 30 and gotta care for them , parents , over their own family ! @Hillside-Hive I couldn't imagine losing a baby at 18 weeks. My latest loss was at 14 weeks but baby had passed sooner and we didn't know. All that to say, I'm so happy you got a healthy baby after your loss. I forget if you said boy or girl... but I'm sure he/ she is the angel of the family. Edit- coming back to say I re read and it was a boy. Congrats on a large family of 13. You are truly blessed.

It’s ok to grieve. Years ago we lost our first two (twins) at 20 weeks and another one at twelve weeks. But ended up with three on earth and now the girls are married and we have 4 granddaughters. We look forward to seeing our other three when we get to Heaven.

Oh Sarah, hugs from a family who understands the loss. Praying for comfort and safety through all that has to happen. Thank you for sharing. During my first miscarriage, I felt like I had to be silent. But through my second, I shared as much as I could and it seemed to help. Hugs friend. Thank you for sharing. Talking about miscarriage seems so taboo in our society. But it needs to be talked about because it is so common. I lost a twin at 12 weeks from vanishing twin syndrome. With my next pregnancy I prayed for twins again, and I was blessed with healthy spontaneous twins 6 years after losing our one before. God's timing is the perfect timing, even if it isn't our timing.

Long explanation incoming but, unfortunately, RU-vid isn't built like it used to be, and long breaks with no content or changes in content will hurt the channel/s, even though the subscriber support is there. That's why if creators want to branch out into different content, it's 'easier' to create a second channel, at the moment, instead of being able to integrate it into the 'main' channel like they used to be able to. Because, the algorithm has to learn the new 'patterns' made by the new content and doesn't push the channel's engagement to current subscribers or potential new ones because of this; by not placing the channel favourably in searches, suggested videos or the main page, while doing so. This essentially punishes the creators, because that affects the 'ad-cents/ monetisation' of the channel/s. This is also a partial reason behind why creators seem to suddenly all be taking on sponsors. So unless you're a creator who's in a secure spot financially, from the channel/s previous gains, or by outside means such as sponsors or merch etc, to be able to take breaks and / or make changes to content, its a big decision to make as for a lot of creators, this is their main source of income. Thankfully, Sarah and Solo have their outside income to possibly be able to take a break, but it would still be another strain during an already difficult time. It's incredibly frustrating and places an unhealthy mindset and environment on the creators.

I'm sorry about the miscarriage. I was pregnant (even using protection) when I was 30 and had bad pain. I thought it might be a tubal pregnancy so I went straight to the doctor and he did an ultrasound right in his office that showed no heartbeat, even though I knew I was almost 3 months. They arranged for me to have a D&C. The whole thing was a very hard process as the father, whom I was sure was the love of my life, turned on me and accused me of doing something to cause this. It was a completely unplanned pregnancy and I wasn't happy or well, but I didn't want the baby to die. That was 38 years ago and i did find my soulmate (gone now from cancer) but never did have children, though I wanted them.

The best advice I ever received about grieving is it will hit you in waves. Feel the grief for a bit then move on until the next wave. Then repeat. Sending hugs!

I am so so sorry, we lost our last one at 10 weeks in August. I asked our dr for that last ultrasound sound. Some days, even though sad, it's nice to have it and remember that sweet spirit that will always be ours in heaven. I pray for peace for you and your family. And quick healing for you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have also had 2 miscarriages, one at 20 weeks, it was very difficult. I am 60 now, so it was almost 40 years ago and I still remember those babies. I am praying for you. May God bless you and your beautiful family.

I’m so sorry Sarah. I’m hugging you from here. I found comfort in studying Psalms when we lost our son. The group Watermark also has a song named, “Glory baby,” that was also soothing. I realize we all process grief differently. Please know that our family will be lifting you all up in prayer.
