We got New Kingdom Hearts Lore 

Ventus is a Drifter. He arrived in Modern KH times with no memory of his past and was taken on as an apprentice by Xehanort. Kairi is a drifter. She arrived in Destiny Islands, absent her memories. It stands to Reason that Sora is now a Drifter in KH4, losing his memories (Again) as he awakens in a new reality. Strelitzia is also a Drifter, which is how she ended up in Quadratum. Yozora is a unique Drifter, who drifts to other worlds and realities in his sleep, retaining his memories.

Drifters just appear, are washed ashore on a new world, without any memories? So would that make Kairi a Drifter too? Her heart was supposed to resonate with that of a keyblade wielder, after whatever Ansems version of the life boat was supposed to do. This led her to Riku and Sora. In the Missing Link time, most Keyblade Wielders are in Scala so it would be the most likely place to end up in. I wonder if this machine will have anything to do with it, or if there are other ways to get into this state. Hope we can find out soon! :D

I'm actually very interested in Missing Link ! The story, new lore, character creation seems really cool.

I think this is more to the same point as xehanort and kairi, not time travel, just people who appear from other worlds.

Dang, now I feel MORE IMPATIENT about Missing-Link. Aikatsu and Disney's Twisted Wonderland have kepted me fed well enough while, on hiatus from KH, but now that you made this detail a lot more important, my impatience meter has dialed up to 11!

1:18 Why do i get a feeling that Sora and by extension anyone sent to Quadratum is a "drifter"? Sora lost his memories again didnt he....? Thats how hes gonna be nerfed in KH4. I wonder. I also assume this because if WE the player are from "unreality" and playing KH in our real world (like Pokemon GO) its pulling a 4th wall break like how Union X did with the Xehanort ending reveal. Meaning Xehanort or Ansem SoD/Terranort knows and traveled there at one point. All fits in with Metaphysics and all that. Found out that Hollow Bastion is basically a giant Hadron Collidor that created an artificial Black Hole. And the End of the World resembles a Neutron Star. Alchemy fits in too. Light and Dark is the 5th Element Aether. Yin and Yang. Ive been doing a lot of research lmao Infact Ansem The Wise is an Alchemist. Sora resembles the "Hand of Prophecies" and it fits in so perfect. Anima Mundi is "The World Soul" aka Kingdom Hearts. And this fits in with some of this stuff too when it comes to Multi World Interpretation. Cant believe im using Metaphysics and Alchemy to solve and look at lore in Kingdom Hearts. Great video! Cant wait for Missing Link!

Yesterday (it is now Saturday 30th March where I live) KHML tweeted (Xted?) about the Android beta.

Brain wouldn't be a drifter. A drifter randomly appears with no memories. Remember in KHUX, brain remembered things. Our player doesn't remember things hence that's why they are a drifter. From some other video I watched a while back, the reason some people forget is because they didn't have the correct things to time travel. Remember you need a medium and someone with memories of you when time travelling, most from ux didn't have that which could be why they don't have memories, but brain and meleficient did which could be why they remember. Assuming the very strong likelyhood blue robe figure is player, I do genuinely find it interesting that player ends up remembering everything. Chirithy does say something about how they are there for whenever player wants to remember things or something like that? Maybe the chirithy helps player remember? Maybe chirithy will Also help ven to remember? Bit of a rant, I know but I'm thirssssstyyyy for kingdom hearts news

Oh also wanted to add this as i thought of it after beating KH1. Its about Kairi being a Drifter. Left this as a response to someone as well. Im not 100% saying she is or isnt a drifter but, i just replayed KH1 and in Traverse Town toward the end of the game, she says in a text bubble she used to live at Hollow Bastion. So maybe shes kinda one? Her memories do seem to be affected but at the same time she def is lying when Sora asks in the beginning (The close up shot of her mouth she frawns when sora asks then when she says "Nothing" she smiles afterword) meaning she knows more as obvious by what she says at the end of the game. btw that text bubble can be accessed at the last save point before the final boss too. she says 3 different things but the one bout Her living at Hollow Bastion you have to mash triangle (HD Final Mix) a LOT. makes me wonder what other text is somehow missed.

This sounds like the “Fallers” from Pokemon, like how Ingo was sent back in time in Legends Arceus

Does this not suggest that invididuals from before the "reformat" put into motion by the MoM are the Drifters mentioned? The first Drifter would definitely have been Brain.

Wonder if that means Sora is one in KH4.

I'm so excited for missing link lore we're gonna get lore on 3 characters Brain, Ephemer and Skuld we're probably also going to get some new stainglass art for them too that first 1 from the missing link trailer is proof of how much Ephemer cares about Skuld and they're likely going to become a couple although I do believe there's going to be a love triangle between Ephemer, Isa and Skuld which will definitely create some drama who cares they're all gonna become friends in the end heck this is no different than the love triangle between Riku, Sora and Kairi

Questo riepilogo generale "delle tredici oscurità originali": Bene, facciamo l'inventario... Il piano del MoM era di sigillare 7 dei 13 in se stesso e nei suoi apprendisti, in realtà non sappiamo se abbia funzionato. Poi 5 sono entrati nei mondi dei dati, 1 si è unito a Ven e alla fine ha dato alla luce Vanitas. 4 sarebbero rimasti intrappolati nello spazio tra i mondi, ma non è chiaro se siano ancora lì (forse a causa della distruzione daybreak town, assieme l'arca, abbia generato una sorta di spaccatura tra tempo e spazio, deduco si tratti del piano astrale). Non mi sorprenderei se fossero legati alla storia di ML o di Yozora. Infine uno è stato presumibilmente distrutto dal mondo, francamente non ci credo per un secondo. Se fosse stato così facile, il MoM li avrebbe uccisi tutti in quel modo. Quindi questo mi dice che uno era/è ancora là fuori nascosto. Francamente sono ancora un po' convinto che stesse lavorando con Xehanort ed è con lui che Xemnas stava parlando nella Camera del Riposo. Penso che possiamo sentirci sicuri nel presupporre che gli apprendisti del MoM saranno forme fisiche per l'oscurità. Sono scettico sul fatto che il MoM sia effettivamente il numero 7….il fatto che indossi costantemente un cappotto nero che lo protegge, ha affermato di volere spazio dall'oscurità, e il puro rischio di fuga di informazioni che sta facendo dando all'oscurità l'accesso al contenuto del suo cuore se non fosse riuscito, anche per un attimo, a tenerlo sotto controllo. No…..penso che il MoM fosse un bugiardo schietto e ha semplicemente detto a Luxu ciò che Luxu aveva bisogno di sentire, e ha tralasciato le parti che non gli piacevano, come il vero compito di Luxu era quello di soffrire per secoli di attesa in modo che il MoM potesse salta semplicemente avanti liberamente. C'erano parti della sua storia che non avevano del tutto senso nemmeno allora... come come potrebbe Luxu essere un veicolo per le tenebre attirate dalla guerra dei keyblade se Luxu avesse ricevuto istruzioni di non farsi coinvolgere nella guerra, di guardare e sapere la verità per tutto il tempo in modo da non lasciarsi coinvolgere dalla negatività. Manca qualcosa... non so dire cosa, ma sembra che il MoM abbia tralasciato alcune parti necessarie per dare un senso al suo piano. Onestamente pensandoci non sarei sorpreso se Riku fosse destinato a diventare uno dei vasi. Pensa al fatto che MoM ha bisogno di impugnatori incredibilmente resistenti all'oscurità, i suoi apprendisti erano essenzialmente apparentemente addestrati a incarnare la virtù celeste opposta all'oscurità per questo motivo, quindi Aced è stato addestrato per essere un uomo d'azione per contrastare l'accidia, Ava è stata addestrata per essere generosa e sarebbe stata quello di ingabbiare l’avidità, ecc… Allora qual è l'ultima delle 7 tenebre più potenti, quella che non si allinea con i nomi degli apprendisti? Il peccato dell'orgoglio. La persona che ingabbia l’orgoglio dovrebbe essere qualcuno che incarni la vera umiltà oltre ad avere un incredibile controllo sull’oscurità. Penso che sia per questo che il piano del MoM ha dovuto aspettare così a lungo, ha dovuto aspettare molti pezzi. Gli servono 13 vasi per ingabbiare l'oscurità. Per 6 dei 7 più forti ha allevato apprendisti e per l'ultimo, quello che dovrebbe essere lui ad accogliere, aspetta che qualcun altro lo ingabbia invece e cioè Riku. Ecco da dove parte la storia di Riku, una gabbia per l'oscurità conosciuta come orgoglio. Gli altri pezzi di cui aveva bisogno erano il figlio del destino, cioè un ragazzo normale con un'elevata empatia che può unificare i poteri degli altri in lui attraverso legami di amicizia alias Sora. Non solo Sora, ha bisogno che le persone interpretino il ruolo della parte avversaria se i suoi apprendisti stanno giocando dalla parte cattiva. È qui che è entrato in gioco Xehanort, la parte opposta sarà composta da maestri keyblader contenenti pura oscurità. Xehanort è stato portato a diventare una versione falsa di questo, un test a secco. Se gli eroi riescono a resistere a Xehanort e vincere, ciò dimostra che sono abbastanza forti da, in teoria, svolgere il ruolo avversario. Ha bisogno di tutti i nostri eroi.

if the real world canon it's the part of the world doesn't to lost kingdom-hearts and the world kingdom heart's separate from and we make games about event's/show's that happen in the past but the real world is the part keep 90% of it's original self have light/dark of emotions but without a world without a heart and quadratum just a mirror version of kingdom's heart's it's hmk say it's on the other side the coin.

What if the Player Character in Missing Link is a drifter from a existing character? which one idk? maybe our Player Character from UnX

and in the past kingdom's was the worlds heart and other worlds with their own kingdom heart's never got mess with how effect their connect before the master of masters remove it?
