We Got VERY Unlucky in The Philippines! 

What Air Asia is doing is criminal!!! My one& only booking with them was TROUBLE, TROUBLE, TROUBLE… and I didn‘t even get the refund when I cancelled myflight! NEVER. EVER. AGAIN AIR ASIA !!!😤

I am based in the U.S, bought airasia ticket for family member in the Philippines and had similar experience. You can fill out and online complaint form at the CIvil Aeronautics Board and usually they have desk at the airport too. I had quite a quick response and help from them. The flight were delayed, cancelled and delayed again and went on for almost a week. I can’t get get a hold of airasia and even my family went to airasia onsite say can’t do anything btut CAB help resolved it fast.

Philippines Civil Aviations should look into this problem of Air Asia, its not normal anymore and annoying. Its affecting the mental health of passengers who are going into tough process of communicating with airlines concern how to fixing, rebooking etc. I hate to this kind of thing, really disgusting having to experience this. Civil Aviation Authority pls do something to fix this problem, if the airline cannot improve their services better close shop and let another do a better job, CAA please do, its your job.

Air Asia is cheap but the worst airline. In 2015, I flew with them from Hong Kong to Manila and they were delayed for 6 fckn hours - no free snacks, no free bottled water! I hate that airline! I will never travel with them again. Mind you, that was in 2015! It's been almost 10 years, nothing has changed!

Starting 2022 NAIA returned to being worst airport. And airlines returned to their usual business of giving headache to passengers

That's why when we went for our holiday from London to the Philippines, we chose Philippine Airlines when we went to Boracay. No issues at all with our flights and very nice and helpful staff. 💗😘Didn't choose Cebu Pacific or Air Asia.

I remember when we are in tacloban, cebu pac was delay for 2 hrs, while PAL was on time, their gates keep on going while ours is keep on waiting. We just watching people of PAL keep on flying i was so envy that day.

Flying Airasia should serve as a last resort nowadays Cebupac is also prone to delays but not as worse as Airasia in my experience

Actually the past 2 week, air travel have been crazy. It's not only Air Asia. We travel to Butuan via Philipine Airline and the flight from 4:45am to 7:30am. Return flight via PAL was on time thankfully. We had 3 hours to transfer to an Air Asia flight to Tacloban. Flight waa on time. But because of the long weekend, we had to take the fastcat to Cebu and stay there overnight to fly back to Manila via PAL. Flight was moved to a later flight as well.

Practically the same thing happened to me and my gf just last month. Our Air Asia flight from Bohol (back) to Manila was originally scheduled at 1pm, then I got a text that said they moved it to 3pm (not too bad), but then another text saying it's now 9pm. There went our afternoon and early dinner plans.

From what i heard manila is building another airport (could be wrong). I think also try if you can avoid NAIA as much as possible and take Clark or even I think Cebu Island has flights going to Mccau .

It’s vacation time for students so a lot of people are traveling… airlines usually overbook flights then reschedule those they can’t accomodate. I worked for an airline so I know.

2:00 in short, Air Asia is a Malaysian owned airlines that needs to do a management shake up in their branch in the Philippines, Cebu Pacific needs to stop that practice of doubling ticket price when they learned that customers are doubling up on certain routes, it's not right and theyr'e just being greedy, and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines needs to stop to just sit on their a** and do what they are paid to do, to monitor and regulate the monopoly driven attitude of this airlines.

we flew with Air Asia from Manila to Cebu in May, there wasn't an issue at all, infact both directions were arrived 30 minutes earlier than we should. I guess we got lucky with that flight but not so lucky with the hotel we picked in Cebu which left me so ill 😞

I’m sorry you experienced this. We live in the UK and we will be going home to Ph this August and will also be flying with AirAsia and I’m very nervous now. I hope AirAsia gets to watch this vlog and do something 🙏🏼

So far been flying with Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines. It’s ok. Last time was with Cebu Pacific we had a problem due to very bad weather BUT the whole crew made sure that our flight was safe and we were taken care of👍

back when there was no budget airlines and I fly General Aviation, I was stuck in an island in Coron for 19 days. Because my company forgot about me! I just took it as a vacation. I enjoyed it. The staff of the island look care of me and treated as a guest of the owner.

My experience with Airasia going and coming back from Cebu is a 4 hrs delay and waits with an aching butt from sitting while waiting😢I had a thought that they intensionally doing this since this is a Malaysian base airline and that is the year 2019.

It is really frustrating having consecutive delays even your not travelling with toddler or any business trips. The issue is that they should have provide enough time say a day before the flight time and the rebooking delayed or cancelled flights should stay on the same amount from the original price.

These delays are happening also in Europe, flights cancelled, delays, less personnel at the airport. This is an issue. So we can be unlucky anywhere when travelling. So expect these things these days if you are always travelling. 😊

Welcome to life of regular travelers. Ever gone on a ferry and had to pay like 6 times. Americans are bad travelers and English are just entitled travelers from what I’ve seen. Filipinos are so patient. We are guests. With defamation laws you gotta be careful of commenting in the Philippines.

That is the reason why I don't book flights with Air Asia anymore. I had to file complaints several times with the Civil Aviation Board just to get a refund and to report how their customer service suck. 😢

Have you guys flown with Air Asia before? I’ve had nothing but problems with them for years. Every time I’ve booked with them it’s gone wrong somehow. Never had the same issues with PAL or Cebu Pac!

Have you consider using a ferry and a private room?

Better fly with PAL domestically, not other airlines. PAL is not perfect, but i guess it is much better than other airlines. That’s what i do.

I have flown Air Asia many times (including as recent as last week) with no issues. I guess it’s just the luck of the draw, lots of complicated machines, hundreds of people, weather. Lots of things can go wrong.

We flew Philippine airlines all the time when we were in the Philippines last year.

You may call the airlines care hotline and you may ask for them to rebook your flight to a more suitable time if your original flight got disrupted.

2018 Ive learned my lesson with Air Asia- 6 hours delay from Manila to Cebu; since then never ever again, my son was 7y/o then; i choose PAL even more costly, coz we only have limited time in the Philippines, only 2 weeks the most. Sorry to hear but the vlog ended happily😊

They did something similar to me except instead of later it was way earlier. Got another email that they canceled that flight and moved me to an even earlier flight and I got this email while I was having dinner and of course had I known this was gonna happen I would have canceled dinner and just went to bed early. Ended up getting home from dinner around 11 and couldn’t really wind down so I headed to the airport at 3 running on an hour nap. I wouldn’t fly airasia PH unless I really have to since this is not the 1st time they did this to me.

The problem with telling Koda stuff like not throwing something across the room is that his work is all about experimenting with the world because he doesn't know the result. He needs to experiement to understand the world. Telling him what will happen is never good enough.

Use Philippine Airlines. More expensive but less cancellations. I only use PAL local or international flights. Used to be a PAL flight from London to Manila but not anymore. There must be a refund in that kind of very long delay. They must provide you with a free hotel.

It’s not a big deal you can take flight the give you it happens to me and many other people too. When I visit Philipines 2023 June it was ok

Air Asia sucks! Had a similar experience about 4 yrs ago. Our 6am flight to Manila was moved to 3 pm & we got deplaned 2x bcoz of "plane malfunctions"... Scary...

I had a problem with AirAsia. It was the most frustrating flight I ever had. Our flight was delayed for half a day. The airline could not give us a definitive answer of what was the cause of the delays.It's supposed to be an early morning flight to Singapore, we waited until noontime did not give us lunch. I won't ever fly this discount airline.

I was delayed 8 hrs using Air Asia i was pre warned to never use them but me being me trying to save money backfired. Lession learned never use Air asia always cebu pacific now always on time and normally only couple hundred peso extra.(if you book well in advance!)

Before you complain…Why is AirAsia different from Ryan Air? Next time, pay more and avoid Budget Airlines.

I have to pause your video coz I had a horrendous flight delayed then a cancellation with Air Asia many years ago when we were still living in the Philippines. My flight was from Singapore to Manila. The worst scenario was, I was all checked in at the airport. Then all passengers were all put in the hotel for the night but at just after 11 pm, there was a letter delivered saying that our flight will be at so and so, ao we should be at the airport at said time. So I thought this is outrageous! So literally, I was at the airport fir 9 hours waiting for the flight but no crew had explained to us what is the reason of cancellation of the flight. So since then, I never booked with Air Asia and will NEVER fky with them.

That’s the problem is Air Asia, I try to avoid them altogether because of delays every time, Philippine Airlines or Cebu Pacific works much better for flights in the Philippines

What I don't like with Air Asia and Cebu Pac is that they don't have proper customer support. All airlines need to have a hotline for customer support in the Philippines. These airlines have hotlines that's available internationally but not here in the Philippines, so this is not because they are budget airlines. The laws need to be updated to protect and provide better service for travelers in the Philippines. Both these airlines use chatbots...I had frustrating experiences using these chatbots, because it bogs you down with a ton of options that led me no where closer to an answer that I was looking for. Contact via email is slow and not always the best way to resolve customer concerns that need a fast response.

This is why I still never tried Air Asia, albeit I don’t really travel much. I don’t wanna get stressed 😅

You should be compensated for these flight delay etc. from the airline

This reminds me of putting our children through the ordeals of strict work and school days. Commerce is cruel.

UK inflation rose within the range of 30% to 50% . SouthEast Asia about to have more immigrants/foreign bystanders flooding. Jacking up the demand in goods, shortening supply & causing inflation. Meanwhile, Asians in UK, EU, and US are being frowned upon, prejudiced, and killed.

This is not good especially when travelling with a young child. I will feel the same I will be very angry. Don't travel to the same airlines ever again. This company is disgraceful. Stand on your ground and make a complaint.

Guys, you have been traveling around the country for a long time now. You should have known better than flying with AirAsia. That airline is ALWAYS my last resort. I rather pay more flying with PAL. Cebu Pac is my 2nd choice because Cebu Pac is prone to delays as well. AirAsia is the worst. They are so bad that booking through their website by credit card, you are prone to BIN attack. There is no airlines without delays but with PAL, at least you're compensated more. Paying more for an airline that have fewer delays will actually lets you spend less throughout your whole travel.

When flying with fly Cebu Pacific & Air Asia, I always expect long delays even cancellation with them, being a low cost airline they have too many flights scheduled through out the day for their fleets... so just one delay on an earlier flight it will have a domino effect on its entire fleet schedule.. If you fly with them I suggest a morning flight, like 8am-11am.. If you fly Philippine Airlines, they are not perfect too, flights also gets delayed but I prefer their services than the other two.. downside is that the tickets are much more expensive.. so more disappointment when it gets delayed 😂😂
