It is hard to enjoy a roasted leg of lamb when you see them in person. St. Teilos Church is amazing. I am always impressed with how old some of these buildings are. The fact that they moved the church there in 1984 and didn't open to the public until 2007, indicates to me the enormous amount of work it took to relocate it to St. Fagans. Llywelyn the Great has an interesting history. One of his grandchildren, Isabella of Mar, married Robert the Bruce, king of Scots. Lots of fascinating Welsh history there. Thanks for the visit, I have already attended a couple of St. Fagans online seminars. This is a very interesting museum.

Our version is the Black Country Museum but much more industrial. As said love history and museums . Medieval buildings are fantastic, we are really lucky throughout the UK plenty of places to visit.
What a great choice after your last minute change of plans. I hope your friend is feeling better soon. You had beautiful weather for St Fagans. I visited St Fagans in July 2019 and the church was the highlight of my visit, but there is just so much to see there that I think I need to return...
St Fagans sure is a amazing museum. I am hopefully visit each month for 2022. 7:25 The Kennixton farmhouse had a building added in 2012. 8:20 remember when there was a photo shop now a sweet shop. 8:40 The Vulcan Hotel will be open in spring 2023. The pub/hotel front was recreated as the original was in too poor condition to use. To the right of the Vulcan is going to be The Taff Well Police station, is on pallets in a warehouse. 15:20 The Llys Llywelyn was recreated 2016. Looking forward to Part 2. Thank you Imo.
Not sure if I mentioned it before, but the mask mandate for public transit has been brought back in. The yellow train that you were meeting was coming in so slow and dainty... I'm sure you could have outrun it.. 🏃🏼♀️💨 What beautiful place that is.. I could def spend a full day wandering around. You do very well at explaining it all ... thanks. I found it all so very interesting.. thanks for sharing.. 💖
I felt so bad for you, with all the excitement of going to meet up with Pippa, having a bagged lunch ready, only to find out that it wasn't a go. Hi to the waving hand shadow of IB. At least he was there to comfort you when the text came in from Pippa.. ha Do you find the weight of the rucksack hard on your shoulders or back? You seem to carry everything but the kitchen sink.. hahaha... and I just wondered what it was like weight wise for you to carry it around.
Ah face mask wearing, they drop the rules and virtually everyone thinks things are ok! We're still wearing masks in doors whether its in Tesco or on public transport. St Fagans does look a lovely place, you convinced us the last time you were there...Promise the next time we're in Cardiff, we will visit!
