It's crazy how quickly Ashley can pick up a new skill even if it's doing something that he has never done before ie dancing , ice skating , new gymnastics

Nile, first let me start by saying I’m 68 years old and I’m from America, second I try to find inspiration in todays times which isn’t easy. I first came upon your speech on TED and you were so honest and transparent so I dug deeper and now I love your relationship with your family and closest friends, but most of all, your content, your tenacity, and how much young people can have a true real live hero to look up to, yes that’s you. You experienced it all the extreme highs the extreme lows and you came out on the other side and keep moving forward, and you show it in everything you do. Please never stop, love you, I’m a believer. None of us are perfect, but I have enjoyed watching what gives you joy love your laugh, be well

Once this is over, you and Ash definitely need to find another sport you guys can use your gymnastics skills towards. Both your faces light up when you practice and achieve a new skill. You both obviously thrive off of the adrenaline and I would love to see yous compete in another sport even if it was just at grassroots level.

It’s almost a given that the Nile Wilson family (from his ma and da to Luke and Ash and Ellis and Sam) can do anything they set their minds to. Ashley is absolutely brill and I never doubt his abilities, or his knowing when he truly feels he cannot do something. His instincts are spot on. Awesome job, Nile. You’ve learned well enough to teach and that makes any instructor proud❣️

I’m just honestly still amazed how you manage to do a butterfly on week one and I’ve been skating for 11 years and I can’t even do one so the fact you’ve been skating for maybe four months and you were able to pull that off is just mind blowing to me big hats off to you you did so well 🫶🏻

It’s great to see you smile a genuine smile again. You thrive on sport so even if the skating is short-lived I hope you can find something else that you can compete in. Competition is your best drug.

When you finish can we please get you teaching Ash more things. Also I am so impressed at how far you have come already. Also it really looks like this has done you good. Im calling it Nial in the final at least. Also if you dont mind some constructive critisism and i dont mean this horribly, but the tecnique is really good the only thing that could be a problem is the facial expressions. As a former dancer i had this problem too. I know this probably comes from the gym background where you have to be serious and can only smile at the end and probably nerves and concentration too. The only advice i can give is if possible relax. I found the more relaxed i was and focused at the same time (which sounds counter intuative) the more my face showed the emotion. I know its only the start and you dont need advice from me but i believe in you and believe you can go all the way

My ice dance coach who is an ISU judge and referee in Ice Dance, ,loves your skating! She is very impressed and follows your performances on TV! You will master the axel, that is for sure. I have been a DOI fan for 15 years now and took up figure skating as an adult 20 years ago. You are an inspiration for us adult skaters...#adultsskatetoo
