This trail is located in Big Bear City, CA. It is rated as moderate to difficult. Having 4x4 is essential here and lockers are recommended though not required. Having good ground clearance is mandatory on some parts. The total distance is about 4.5 miles and 2 hours long.

I have never seen the rock garden closed. That big tree is the entrance. My group was just up there last weekend

Damn! For a newbie in a new Jeep you rocked that trail. Props to the lady spotting for first time too. Stock Rubicons are beasts, I kept my 1st one stock and got through sections that dudes in lifted/moded Jeeps were afraid to take ahaha. No doubt mods add capability though & the way to go if you're really going to do adventures like that or more difficult. Good video!

Thanks! They're super capable stock Though now since I have some new mods done I will have to come back and assess the difficulty compared to a stock Rubicon. Thanks!

Great video. Thanks for taking us along. You can unbolt the ends of your front bumper for better approach angles, to let the tires reach the rocks before the bumper. Good video.👍

BRAVO! Been studying this trail. I am a pure stock 2018 JK. As a driver, I have alot of experience. I am learning my Jeeps capabilities. After seeing your vid? Doing this trail for sure!! Look forward to meeting you on a trail!

this is great. I have the same rubicon stock 4xe but in anvil color. I did 'The Squeeze' trail in Big bear and def bottomed out several times. Had ton of anxitery and fear but luckily no body damage. Good job

Gold Mountain is always fun. The only time I’ve had issues there was when it was icy. Way to face your fears.

As things progress I plan on coming back here and to the rest of the trails in Big Bear and other areas. I applaud you for making it with the snow.

I do plan on making a trip to John Bull and Holcomb Creek. First though I want to put on the new lift + wheels and tires.
