You know families, people fight, don't get along and what not but at the end of the day... family is family! Have you ever had a family reunion? Was the food good? Did you guys get t-shirts? Did your grandparents cry? Let me know if you enjoyed this vlog!
So funny to see, i'm from Boston, have Chinese uncles and aunts, and about 30 cousins. When we all get together its wild and the same grub. Small world bro🔥 Shout out to your YeYe.
Luv it that your dad followed in his father's footstep. The way he chopped that roast pig is poetry in motion. If you do another Chinatown eats bring your celebrity grandpa with cha.
“Gung Gung” is Cantonese for maternal grandfather, so that’s his mom’s dad (yei yei is paternal grandfather). Chinese Grandpa really respects his dad though, he always compliments his cooking skills!
We use to have these reunions in CT. Now you make me homesick. I love seeing your family all together. But especially gung gung and por por. Happy Gathering 😘
I throughly enjoyed this! Please keep it going ! Great watching the family reunion! ❤❤❤ All the food looked delicious especially the whole belly clams. ❤
Seems like you have a nice family fun reunion when I see your bbq pig 🐖 reminds me when I was a kid you could smell the pig in the window hanging in the good old days awesome memories awesome video
Nice family reunion! Many of our favorite dishes! I’m in Northern California, but my moms side of the family is all MA and NY!!! Keep up the good work.
@@gametri-eq6lj I shop at asian markets all the time, but have never seen this. I shop at 99 Ranch, 168 and Good Fortune in Southern California on a regular basis. May I ask where/which state or supermarket you are able to get this from?
I keep wondering why your grandfather looks familiar and then I see a shaolin hung gar shirt. The same one that my uncle Sorat gave me from his dojo. Small world 😂
Overall this was amazing. Quick question though - if yall went out there and you said fried clams were an amazing regional dish....- why did you use canned clams?
Bro Im Asian that grew up as a teen here in the states .. as i recall you said your grandpa has been here since the 60s.. how come he still has that thick Chinese accent?.. is it just for the vlog? Just wondering 🤔
