Putting Toast's engine in the humvee would be really fucking insane as a burnout truck. I really want to see that. You could custom fabricate the windshield to fit the blower in the stock location, or just sit it super far forward and make it whacky looking for shits and gigs.

I like the idea of a ute with a blower motor, the humvee just seems like you would be taking the problems you have with toast and amplifying them, lack of control, body roll, high center gravity, irs, etc.

Have JH to put together a duramax with Allison combo for the Humvee CTS-V or a G8 would be worthy of the big block to I'd bet

Toast's engine needs to go in a 1963 Ford Ranchero like Demo Matt just bought. It's the same chassis as Warbird (Falcon). You could name it War Eagle and wrap it to look like an old fighter plane (think P-51 Mustang).

I agree with you on the Dale Truck. Keep that one mint. SS and Ute are neat. However, if you could get the Hummer up with the big block, that would be cool. The mag whatever it is could pop up inside the cabin-space, right? Fire is a concern at that point. Getting the hat sorted will be a pain. Maybe keep the 4wd aspect? Think of the donuts you could do with that setup!

I think you should put some serious horsepower in the Blazer! It maybe the Big Block or something else. For the Australian Big Block a UTE might be very fitting. What i absolutely would love to see in Cleetus his fleet is a wagon with big power. Those are also ideal for transporting merchandise and parts.

Garrett, I still think a 04 to 06 GTO would be a better choice it is certainly cheaper and easier to find then the Aussie ute or the ss. Just do the conversion to a Manaro to make it more Australian. I can't believe I'm the only suggesting it? The hummer would better with the Duramax in it.

Don't forget that one of the biggest reasons they're moving out of Toast is that it *handles* poorly. The Hummer is not going to handle any better. Also the inboard brakes are just a nightmare.

What about taking the Cummins from the Galaxie for the Hummer and putting the big block in the Galaxie similar to War Bird? I’m sure the Galaxie could use a complete overhaul. Might be more work than it’s worth to you, but just an idea.

Out of those choices, find a UTE. Trying to fit it in the hummer would take so much time and work that we won't see that thing run for a year at least...there's so much fab work to do there.

I feel like the humvee would be such a waste for a blown big block because it's so big and so heavy. Dropping that thing down in an ss would be absolutely insane, and it would bring awareness to a relatively unknown sleeper car lol

Toast's engine in the Holden Maloo would be like another Mullet, just an aussie Mullet. The Holden is my vote.

The Humvee should get a Duramax or a common rail Cummins. There’s way too many 12 valve humvees and there’s a lot of Duramax’s too, so the common rail Cummins would be unique. I think a Chevy SS for the blower engine would be perfect because there’s a lot of utes in Australia with that setup already, so then you just blend in with them

IMO: Body drop on a tube frame and make it an ultra wide drift/burnout monster. You already have a drag ute. Kinda.

As an Australian I firmly agree with the idea of the Ute, lots of easy to source parts for that type of stuff, yes everyone puts blown big blocks in Ute's but it also means that you can find parts and brackets etc a whole lot easier

In my opinion the Humvee is too heavy for a good burnout vehicle. I don't know what you pay Tye but he is worth it! Ruby's turbo kit is one of the nicest, best flowing kits I've ever seen.

I think the hummer would be amazing! But just use the body and get a different chassis that would simplify the hummers front suspension motor location issues. And it would be a one of a kind.

I will go ahead and state that I’m 100% biased because I have a 2014 Chevy SS. But if you guys did either the Chevy SS or the Maloo, I’d say to go with the SS. If you put it in the Maloo, I think it’s be to similar to Mullet. You could also swap the badges on the SS to make look more like a Holden Commodore as well. Think it would sick. And seeing you guys turn a sedan into an absolute ripper would be awesome. Be different from the usual two door sports cars we see on the channel. Id love to see it. SS has my vote

I still think an 80’s square GM truck would be the ticket for the big block. You’d have less in buying the right truck and building than if you were to go any other route. Plus, super American, already tons of Big Block stuff for them, plenty of room for activities, and you wouldn’t be cutting on something so new. My vote was and still is, an 80’s square GM truck.

I believe I’ve seen a design for a hat that curved so that the back of the motor could be set back under the windshield for better weight distribution

Mount the blower motor in the same location as the Detroit, have the blower in the cab, hat through where the windshield used to be. Leave the IFS/IRS, get a turbo 400 with a brake and a billet transfer case. Take it mud/sand drag racing

Everyone loves doing Holden badge swaps on their SS. You should do the opposite and throw the big block in a Holden Ute and put Chevy badges on it.

The SS would be the best option. The Humvee should stay diesel but you should go for a BIG power diesel motor for it. You technically have a UTE already with Mullet so that leaves the SS. It being a burnout car having 4 seats for passengers would be pretty rad so I'm gonna say SS

I got a LLY 6.6 with a compound set up with efi live 5stage with a built trans and transfer case I’d let go body is junk but runs solid been just sitting around doing nothing 😂

I think rather than a ute he should do a wagon maybe a vt/vp, lots of potential and if you’re up for the fab work it can be dressed like a ute if it ends up being to big in the rear.

I love the idea of the SS or the Ute. You could do the Chevy version of Neighbor with the caprice PPV, which is just a cheaper, longer Chevy SS, but Jeremy already kind of did that one. I think the Hummer is a terrible choice. The engine would need to be moved forward at least 18 inches, you would need to swap in a 9 inch solid axle, ditch the transfer case, and you'd still be left with a vehicle too tall and too wide to really do an Aussie level burnout.

I think a chevy C10 would be kinda cool, like a mid 80's one. I think a pickup wouldn't be a bad skid car. Light rear end to throw around and it has that cool boxy look, plus it's classic American. Would look pretty cool all slammed out with some steelies on it and a big ol' blower hat coming out the hood.

Humvi with toast motor and rear wheel steer sure would be unique.

As an Aussie I'd love to just say go with the ss ute. But as a Cleetus fan I would really enjoy something that paid homage to the workhorses of the channel, possibly in the way of a blown Corvette. A late 60's to early 70's model would be sweet!

Aussie engine (Castlemaine Rod Shop) in an Aussie Ute (SS Maloo) is definitely the way to go, 1000+ hp units for runnin an Aussie car in the U.S.
