I lived in Spain for twelve years and now back in the UK. Think both countries would be a huge culture shock for someone coming from the USA. Please don’t let that put you off as both countries have so much to offer.

As a former army brat, we loved living in Europe, traveling, learning the local culture of where we were currently stationed. Go for it, our grandparents visited.

Go to Spain, we took our kids on a 3 year RAF tour to Cyprus and it was a wonderful experience. Your parents will cope without you , they've lived their lives and this is your opportunity.

The glands in the stomach can become affected from strep. My 4 always threw up before being diagnosed.

Just a heads up, flights in Europe are VERY expensive!! But any food is cheaper, healthier and more nutrious than any food you can dream up in the USA. So please visit Europe, but choose wisely🥰

My daughter when she was little had a false neg strep test and wound up with Scarlett fever violent painful vomiting and broke out into a rash.

Your parents wouldn’t visit as often, but they would stay longer. They have the flexibility in their schedules to do that. And if you are not flying to see them, you would have funds to gift them flights if needed.

Ibuprofen made my youngest daughter throw up

Did you give her food with it? Ibuprofen can be very hard on an empty stomach. If she can't/won't eat, try Tylenol instead.

@@SavoryCaroline yes she vomited every time she took it . Even with a full tummy and Tylenol did not help when she had a fever. Ended up using cool wet cloths on her head and things like that
