Ed I too was just diagnosed with Parkinson jn early November. It's a game changer but you are fighting it big time. I've gotten myself a four-wheel walker and it really helps. Keep plugging away and enjoy Life to the maximum.. Bob
Thank you Bob, so you understand what it’s like and what we’re going through thank you for your encouragement. We really appreciate it wishing you the best prayers and encouragement in your Parkinson’s journey.
So sorry to hear your news but am so impressed with your faith and optimism. We bought our runaway this year and are looking forward to adventures like yours. You were an inspiration for us in getting this camper and we so enjoy watching all of your travels and shenanigans! Know that there is a large community praying for you!
We are pressing on! It was a major setback but we are encouraged by all the support we have received. We plan on keeping up the adventures. We feel the prayers and support from everyone.
wow, that was a heavy heartfelt video! I wish you both all the best, and I know that you both will make it as good as it possibly can be. I do hope to run into you around the campfire!
We are so sorry to hear about your Dad and your medical news. You just have to keep going forward as long as you can, and what helps you on a path to your best life. Prayers for all of you.
I have a mother-in-law and brother-in-law that are both dealing with Parkinson’s disease. Hang in there. Just take one day at a time. We love your channel.
My dad was diagnosed 2 years ago. he does the boxing and he loves it. he has no tremors but other real strange symptoms . It is an odd condition and everyone is different. he sees a psychologist/social worker now since the diagnosis and it has helped him alot. they say his is probably from Vietnam and exposure to agent orange but who knows. He actually is in Vietnam with my mother right now. we were all surprised when he told us he wanted to go back. It may sound rough but his diagnosis was devastating and a blessing at the same time. he spent his whole life that i knew him angry and bitter (understandably so) but the diagnosis has in a way set him free from his past. I truly believe he is making things right with his family friends and his past. and that is a good thing. Continue to embrace life and all the crazy things living has to offer. and try your hardest to not waste time or energy on the SUCK.
Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement. We feel that there’s a possibility my dad’s condition was brought on by agent orange. It’s hard to know for sure. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. By the way, we love your RU-vid channel and watching your adventures
So sorry to hear about your dad. I am so glad you are taking the Rock Steady Boxing class! It is a great class. As a nurse it is something that I know works. My mom also has Parkinson's & she is doing very well but she won't take the class. Please know that your community is strong & always here for you both. See you on down the road. ❤😊
Thank you Sandra, we can already feel the love prayers and encouragement coming from everyone. I hope your mom gets the help she needs, and her journey is smooth.
God bless you both. I will add you to my prayer list. I so enjoy watching your videos. They have been so helpful. I have a Cool Camp (5months). Thank you for everything.
Thank you for your prayers and encouragement. Congratulations on your new cool camp. I hope you have many adventures ahead. And hope to see you on the road someday.
Wow, Ed, you have truly have had a lot hit you. My father battled Parkinsons for several years and was a part of the Indiana Parkinsons Foundation, and they are a wonderful organization. Do what you can to keep active and take care of yourself. Rock Steady Boxing will be a great benefit to you. Laura and I will be praying for the two of you. God Bless!
I am sorry to hear of your loss and this new challenge in your lives. Prayers for both of you and your family. Do what you can to support your health, but be slow to make irretractable decisions. You want to keep the things that give you joy in your life as much as you can. I know what you mean about medical facilities, though. Years ago my son began to have neurological symptoms, and we were sometimes traumatized by the other children we met at the geneticist's office at the children's hospital, for instance. (It turned out OK; he just has cerebral palsy that presented in an unusual way.)
We send along our deepest condolences on the passing of your father. My husband ( also 63) was just diagnosed with Parkinson's last month (and so was a close friend just 3 days later). We had several misdiagnoses including MS over the last two years. We too are in the stages of just figuring out where we go from here. While we will miss the frequent videos you simply have to put your health first. It sounds like you are on the right track- a healthy diet, exercise, and a positive attitude. I find that keeping him on a regular schedule with plenty of sleep helps some of his symptoms..
Blessings to you on your Parkinson’s journey. It’s amazing how many people I’m hearing from that are recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s so many people are attending the rocksteady boxing. I was amazed how many people were there. Blessings to you and prayers your way as you continue your journey.
I have missed you guys. I have just found you several months ago, have watched all your videos and you have taught me so much about camping. I am so sorry for your loss of you dad. Life gives us bumps in the road to make us stronger. Travel will keep you busy and active. And we will always be here watching!!!
you are a warrior Ed and with Nancy by your side, a good God up above, and friends surrounding you, you will be fine. You are looking at this the right way, so many people get news of health challenges and their attitude takes them down. One of my dad's best friends (also named Ed!) was diagnosed 12 years ago and he does great. Good diet, good (consistent) rest schedule, and he swims a mile every morning. You'll find your own combination of what works for you. Prayers, my friends!
My condolences on your fathers passing, so rough dealing with Alzheimer’s, I’m sure on his and your parts. Such an ugly disease. My grandfather recently passed from it as well 😢❤ Wishing you much prayers and blessings on your journey with Parkinson’s. I know y’all will be ok, your outlook is so positive and inspiring, how can it not be! Like Nancy, I’ve got an autoimmune arthritis (psoriatic) and it’s been a road to travel camping in our Rangerunner for sure. You both have been huge in reminding me I can do it no matter how much it hurts! We live next door, in Illinois where medical cannabis is legal. I know it isn’t in Indiana, but CBD should be ok for purchase there. I’ve heard promising things for any nervous system disorder and have experienced incredible results myself with my own autoimmune illness whenever my nerves become involved. If it’s ok with your doctor of course! I’m sure you gave tons of folks tossing you ideas though so take or toss 😊 Thank you for sharing and hope y’all have a wonderful holiday season!
So sorry to hear about the tough times you have been facing. I’m finally just catching up on some of the people I subscribe to that RU-vid stopped surfacing in my feed. All the best to you.
Hi Ed and Nancy, I have always enjoyed your videos and thank you for making them!! I am sorry to hear of the loss of Ed’s father and pray for your comfort. I will be praying for you guys going forward as you navigate a new path and will continue to watch for updates from time to time. Thank you!

Ed and Nancy we love you guys. Prayers in the midst of your trials. Ed I have a friend that goes to our church who has Parkinson’s. In January he goes to Cleveland Clinic for a procedure to hopefully help with his tremors. If you’re interested I can find out the name of the procedure. See you at homecoming and Mississippi. In Christ, Terry and Pam

Hello Ed, Nancy & Herky. Sorry for your loss. Shocked to hear the news. I'll add you to my daily prayers. You two inspired me to get a 2nd job and save that money to buy a tiny camper and travel when I retire. I consider you friends I have not yet met. I hope our paths cross soon. I'd love to meet you. Stay positive.
Sorry to hear about your Dad, Ed. As far as the Parkinson’s, you’ve got the right attitude. Stay positive, and it will all work out according to Gods plan. Will be praying for you both. Love you guys!
Ed, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. It's also, a bummer hearing about your diagnosis with Parkinson's Disease; however, it's encouraging to know you have the slower kind of PD and that you have a many good years ahead. Your faith in Jesus and your attitude will serve you well. You and Nancy will be in my prayers. I turn 61 tomorrow and growing older has its challenges. My wife and I enjoy your channel and travels. Please say hello to Herky for us. God bless you. Terry
I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. May your memories help to sustain you and the family. Also devastated to hear of Ed’s diagnosis and know how uncertain you feel the future may be. I have a friend with Parkinson’s and she is doing ok. Some days better than others. She and her husband just bought a van camper and plan to do some traveling so don’t be discouraged. I think you will still be able to do what you’ve always done just maybe at a different pace. You are both in my thoughts and prayers! ☮️❤️☀️
So sad to hear about your dad!! Taps and the salute always jerks the tears for me! Also sorry to hear about your diagnosis!! Life is just not easy sometimes!!! Take of each other!! Wishing you all the best!!!
So sorry to hear about your dad. About your health, just keep living life to the fullest as you always do. Looking forward to seeing you at home coming.
Sorry to hear about your dad. Your health news was a shocker. You both have to take care of yourselves. If you feel able to travel then do it. If you feel like doing RU-vid than do it. Whatever you decide is fine . Take care and prayers tu you and Nancy.
So sorry for the loss of your Dad. My prayers are with you and Nancy, Ed. God is with you both. Each day is a gift we are given. Thanks for sharing with us your news. I’ll be keeping you in my prayers.
I am sorry…,I am 62 and we planned to. Retire in 2024 and RV. In June 2023 I was diagnosed with Ocular Myasthenia Gravis. No cure….so right now travel is going to be hard. I can’t drive now.
In my prayers for comfort and strength. Remember we all walk by your side always. See ya all at Homecoming. Take care of yourselves.❤ from Pam, Joy & Ellie.
Sorry to hear about this latest challenge in your lives. Thank you for being transparent about your diagnosis, Ed. Best wishes for a long and healthy process as you walk this path together. How wonderful you have each other to lean on. I look forward to more videos in the future.
Thanks for always being an encouragement to us. Sometimes it’s hard to open up about some of the personal things going on in your life but we thought it was important that people should know.
❤ Sorry for your loss! As per the Parkinson’s diagnosis, my previous boss was diagnosed with Parkinson’s I believe almost 6 years ago or so! You got this Ed & Nancy! It’s a team and village effort with the positivity, union, and mindset. Be yourself Ed! The biggest critic and judge of yourself is you! Prayers for you two and your family. Take your time, we’ll be here for you all! Ya can’t get rid of us that easy buddy! Merry Christmas 🎄
First of all, condolences to you and the family on your father’s passing. It’s always hard to lose a parent. Secondly, I’m so sorry you are having to deal with Parkinson’s, but I know that you will be held in His hands along that journey. A couple of men that I know play pickleball and have said that it has helped them with balance and coordination and one of them is in the advanced stages but he keeps playing (and plays well too). Might be something for you to look into. And Nancy, if Ed is taking up boxing, you might want to reconsider smacking him around like you do! 😂 Seriously though, praying for you both that the Lord will uplift you and wrap His arms around you. Love you both! 💕See you soon!!
Ed, sympathy on the loss of your father and so sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Please know we are praying for you and Nancy. We are so grateful for your videos. Your videos are the reason we have our Runaway and the reason we are having such a wonderful time camping.
So sorry to hear of your father's passing. As a runaway camper that stays in the shadows but enjoys your videos I will be happy and enjoy the videos when they are posted. Do for you and Nancy and herky. Hugs to you all and stay positive. Maybe see you down the road. Thank you for all you've done
