How exciting! My sister and I were pregnant at the same time too! Our girls were born three months and nine days apart and we raised them like twins. We bought matching outfits all the time and had their pictures made together. It was so much fun! Now there’re 29 and my daughter is a new mommy. 🥰
MARY!!!! Congratulations sweetheart. You and your husband are blessed beyond measure. Thank you for sharing your news. The nursery is adorable. Oh my stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️💗💗💗. Yeah😍😍😍
Clocked in a video a while back and she was rubbing her stomach, I suspected she might be. The rule though is never ask, always wait to be told. So lovely.
@@amandaleggett I felt bad for Leighann and Grant for a split second, as they were still trying, and then thought I bet they're so thrilled for her but it had to be hard for everyone. So glad Leighann got to join the club eventually too.
As soon as you said you had good news I knew it was Mary being pregnant!!! So excited for her! It will be so nice to have babies together! 2021 is the year for your family!
My mom and one of her younger sisters were pregnant at the same time. This was grandchild 2 & 3. I was born 3 days after my cousin, a boy and my grandma had a field day going from one room to the other in the hospital. :)
I'm SOBBING! congratulations to Mary and her husband! that is so awesome that you guys are pregnant together and that her transfer was successful as well!!!
I’m from Texas also and I’ve always heard that mums are just a Texas thing! I was in an art class in high school and as one of our exam grades we would actually make our mums for homecoming 😂
What a beautiful video! You can just see everyone so happy and excited💕💕 what a blessing! Congrats to your sister! So cool that you get to experience this with your sister.
How exciting 2 babies!!! My nieces are 6 months apart and it was so exciting seeing them grow together, play and become great friends. They are 18 now and are able to share the excitement of college together! Congratulations Mary!
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!! You guys do deserve this and it warms my heart to know that you didn’t have to go through this with just you and Grant. Having the opportunity to talk about all of this was probably such a relief for you. Can’t wait to meet your sweet little babe and Mary’s when you both are ready!!
My mom and all 3 of her siblings had babies in the same year. My cousin that I lived closest to is still my best friend. All of my happiest childhood memories were spent with him. So excited for your fam!!
I'm in northern California and I have never even heard of a "mum", except for British mothers, lol. My sister and I were pregnant at the same time and lived 10 hours apart but it was so special sharing that experience with her. Congrats to you both!
I'm seriously sobbing through this whole entire video. How wonderful to be expecting with your sister!! I'm so, so happy for you and your family. You deserve all the great things. 💕💕💕
As soon as you started talking about how different your family is going to be by the end of the year THE WATERWORKS STARTED! I am so happy for you and your family and sister and everyone!!!!
Thank you Mary for allowing us to share in setting up your nursery. We appreciate the opportunity of peeking into the extended family. So happy for you and your hubby.
Eeeeek! So excited! My sister and I had our daughters 6 weeks apart and let me tell ya....they were inseparable and like sisters. Cutest pics ever of those two and soooo many funny memories! Congrats!!!!!
I’m so happy you both can be completely joyous at the same time!! My cousin had multiple failed rounds of IVF when I was pregnant and even though she was happy for me, she was still sad. It’s such a gift that your family can JUST feel the joy!
Over the moon excited for your family!! I first thought was how excited your mom must be! You and Mary are going to make fantastic moms, but your mom is going to be such an incredible grandma!!! 💜💚
Went to school in TX, def did the mum thing. Huge, way-too-long ones that rattled and clanked and jingled as you walked. Until my Senior year when I decided I'd had enough and I had a sassy short one that I pinned to my jeans at my hip. It was sooo much lighter and less annoying and several girls later told me how they were secretly jealous. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Also, congrats Mary!!!
My daughter and my nephew were born June and Aug. You're going to love it! Watching them play and run around grandma's together is the best thing in the world. Sharing all those milestones with a family member as they're experiencing them too is just so fun!
I remember a good while ago when you mentioned that Mary and her husband stayed at your place while traveling for something important. I don’t know why, but I just felt it was to do with expanding their family. Yay! I’m so glad! That’s such a wonderful thing to go through that together and for the kids to have a close cousin!
So excited for you and Mary! It must be such a comfort to be able to talk about all the new things that are happening to you with such a trusted sister! Now we have 2 wonderful new additions to await the arrival of!! What a Blessing! I hope you start feeling better soon. Even if it is for the very best of reasons, it still sucks.
I’m from Oregon and never heard of the mum thing! I thought you were going to talk about flowers lol. And a big congrats to Mary! So happy for your entire family. What a great year for everyone 💘💘
I went to a jr high in Texas and we had mums also!! Oh my gosh, the memories it brought back to see yours! our colors were blue white and silver so seeing a red and black one is so fun! I really do think this is only a Texas thing because I have never met any one else who knew what a mum was! haha
I was pregnant at the same time as my SIL and she was 2 months ahead of me. It was seriously the most wonderful thing for my first pregnancy and they love having someone the same age to play with. We did bump pictures together and everything too. It’s so awesome!Congratulations 🎉
Did not know what a mum was until this video. No such thing in Colorado. Hope you feel better soon. Congrats to your sister and hubby. What a sweet thing for your family to do together, building the baby furniture and decorating the nursery. Blessings to you all for sharing this with us.
My sister and I were due 2 weeks apart but ended up having our girls 39 hours apart! BEST gift ever to have cousins that are like sisters and best friends for life!
You even look better!! Even though you are as beautiful as ever your hair is curled more & your make up is touched up. I’m beyond thrilled for you & Grant!! XOXOXOXO
I remember you mentioning your sister going through the process but never the result, I'm so happy it worked out for both of you! Welcoming two little miracles in one year 😊❤️
Yay!! You had briefly talked about Mary's fertility journey and I was soooo hoping this announcement would happen! Never been so excited for a family I've never met.
The tears won’t stop welling!!! I can’t believe you and Mary are both pregnant! I know we don’t know much about her fertility journey but with both of you doing IVF I can imagine the sheer joy and happiness you’re both feeling of successful transfers. Congratulations to them and your family, I bet this is a big period of joy in a time where it is still seeming isolated and bleak. Congratulations!! I’m sure they will be more like siblings than cousins 🤍🤍
I graduated high school in 2013 and my school (well the area in general. I'm from Fort Worth, TX) was huge on mums. Like some girls (mainly the drill team tbh) had these massive mums with lights and bells. Some people had such big mums that they had a hard time fitting through doors.
I'm originally from Longview, TX. I graduated in 1997. I remember the HUGE mums with literal bells, whistles, lights...weighing these little tiny girls down. It was a status symbol in my school.
@@elizabethwilliams6612 huge status symbol! To the point where you had to "earn" different colors (i.e. only seniors were allowed to have white mums and ribbons). My cousin is a senior at the same school i went to and the majority of her friends spent well over $300 on theirs which is BONKERS.
What a true blessing 2021 is for your family! My Sister, Brother and I grew up with cousins there's nothing better! We are in our 60s now and still are very close! 💙💕💙💕💙
This is so awesome!! My sister and I were pregnant at the same time with our now 3 year olds..it’s so wonderful watching the bond they have shared from birth! Hold tight to these memories and enjoy every single second. I can say from experience that it was one of the best times of my life! Congrats again!!! ❤️
Me and my sister had babies 3 months apart! A boy and girl and it was so special being pregnant together and now seeing them grow up together. My mom was in HEAVEN that she had 2 grand babies in one year, and your mum seems like she would be too!
Yay!! Congratulations to Mary and the rest of your family!! What a wonderful gift to share this experience with your sister! Her nursery is adorable!! So. Much. Cuteness!! 😊
I'm not sure of the history behind it, but mums have been a thing for a long time here. I looked up some info just now, and it started in 1911 but popularized in the 70s :)
Oh my goodness! So fun! My sister and I were pregnant together. Our boys are six weeks apart. Best friends from the beginning. It’s going to be so special for your kids to grow up together. 💜
I'm convinced my grandma had the exact same day bed, because I totally remember those gold balls too! Congrats to your sister and her husband 💕 cousins are the best!
I have beenWAITING for this vid. I think that anybody who regularly watches you knew this was coming. You've briefly talked about Mary and her struggles with fertility in the past, and issues that she's gone through and you've hinted at this even without hinting. So I had very strong feeling that she may be pregnant or at the very least adopting months ago. I am so excited for this news and for your family. It is truly a blessing! Congratulations to literally everybody!
We had “mums” in Alabama but ours had a stem and we held them as we walked out on the football field if you were in the “homecoming” court. I’ll try and DM you a picture.
Me sitting here like “what the heck is a mum? Like the flower? The lady who gave birth to me?” Either way I need to know like what exactly it is? I don’t understand 😂
