I don't think the issue is parents getting their kids jobs. The issue is when most of the high paying jobs in that field are taken by people who benefited from their parents, and then they act like that's not the case. By all means be a nepo baby but don't a) suck at the job you're inheriting b) don't act like you aren't a beneficiary of nepotism, it's odd. And yes, nepotism is common, but in a society that sells itself as a meritocracy, you need to work hard, and you need to pull yourself from your bootstraps, it's insulting. It shouldn't be the norm imo.

Yes lol! I grew up with friends who loved Bollywood but I was too outside the loop to know what was going on.
