It depends on where you get it from and in which country. I was wondering… No runny belly? I was thinking esp with artisanal ice cream like Naick… love passion fruit and as delicious as it may be I’m always ever so careful with water based drinks (or ice based) as I was warned not drink water from tap water / only filtered or bottled water. In my travels it definitely has stopped me from trying new things.🥺
@@sabrinastraveladventures4263 we used to be much more careful with our food but we found after a while that when you travel full time like us you just can't avoid everything that might trigger stomach problems. We used to avoid salads for the raw veggies / washed in water, etc but now we just eat them because veggies are already a bit more scarce if you have lots of street food :) we don't ever drink tap water though, always bottled water. But other than that we eat pretty 'normal' I'd say :)
@@NaickKim being young and in good shape really help I believe. I wished I didn’t have to think too much, having a compromised immune system after failing a few times you get a reminder from time to time in my case it may not be worth the risks☹️ so I get a bit envious I wished I could do all these… but on other hand I will go swim with ‘ crocs’ 🐊 less of a risk🤭 it’s complicated to be a dare devil that has to act responsibly 😇vs😈
@@sabrinastraveladventures4263 I see what you mean. Wish it was different for you, but look at everything that you have done in the past few years already! There are limits to the things you can do, but you still do A LOT 🥰🥰 ps: what, swim with crocs? 😮please tell me this is a scale model of a croc 🤪 or one of those inflatable pool thingies
The Santa Ann Volcano is so beautiful, I didn't expect the color of the lake to be so bright; It's hard to imagine how those hawkers brought those ice creams up there; Which ice cream flavor is my favorite? All flavors should be liked!👍😃👌 聖安哪火山好美麗,沒想到湖水顏色是這麼鮮豔; 很難想像,那些小販是如何將那些冰淇淋搬上去; 我最喜歡哪種冰淇淋口味?
OH my gosh after how sick you guys were i am so freaking proud of you two!!!...So looking forward to your next adventure!! (we also do our best to get back to our accommodations before dark...no need to test the fate)...viv
Hello! I loved the video, I am one of the students from the school who climbed the volcano, I am proud to know that they liked a place of our beautiful American flea. I have a RU-vid channel and it would be an honor for me to be able to make a video reacting to this video and see how it was during that beautiful adventure. (I don't speak English but a translator helps me, Lol.) Congratulations and welcome to El Salvador 🇸🇻💕🌋
You guys are Troopers! And this Volcano was fascinating!! Thank you for seizing the moment for some of us who will never go there😃..stay safe...maybe you would like to hike Tamanique Falls..Thanks Beth
Fantastic video, I can’t wait to experience those views myself. I’m travelling to El Salvador next week - did you guys do a tour to hike the volcano? Or just show up and pay for the guide? Also do Ubers go up there and back?
Just do exactly as we did in the video. Take the 7:30 am chicken bus there, stop off at hostel El Tibet (the bus driver will yell 'volcan' so you know to get off) and wait there with the other people, guides will come there. I think you can take an Uber there but you won't be able to catch an Uber back as there are non hanging around there
You will never be able to enjoy the view from the top of a volcano if you do not climb it, only those who make an effort will be able to see in person the lagoon in the crater of the Santa Ana Volcano🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻
Is not "people with big guns", is security people with big guns, what govement don't want (for now) is regular people with big guns. Believe me you were secure with police and soldiers around you. This will be a process, meanwhile salvadoran people that lives every day in San Salvador and around feel secure this way.
Wow!!! You did it!!! You had me cheering you all the way up, and at the end you did it!!!!. I'm glad you enjoyed El Salvador. Thank you for visiting and happy travels.
Great vlog… Kim’s face matching her top 😂poor thing That’s the kinda of stuffs I wanna experience in my travels… raw experiences cozy hotels 😂 Loved the volcano what a beauty and you have done so well climbing post covid 👏🏼 Can’t wait for the rest Bisous sabrina 🇫🇷🇬🇧
My face matching my top omg ain't that the truth 🤣 and sweating buckets too haha. We really loved the experience overall though. Love that feeling of achievement once you finish a hike like this 😊😊
You had me worried when I saw the caption "She wasn't ready." I thought that Kim had had an accident on the way up or down. Thankfully all went well, and those drone shots were great.
I was in ES march 26 to april 5 . I stayed in the same hostel, same room as you guys. lol. Even after those attacks , ES was amazing . just lots of police around. Sadly i hiked up the volcano but it never cleared :(. Thank you for the amazing video of it so at least i know what i was missing!
Nice videos thanks for visiting our country Im glad you enjoyed it. I was born raised in El Salvador now i live in USA, just came back from vacation visited Brussels a few days, a good college friend lives there, she works for NATO, During my vaction I also spend a few days in Amsterdam and the French Riviera most of the time. Your country Belgium is beautiful love the architecture im planning to go back later this year to visit more cities.i love old castles and chruches- Which cities do you most recommend ?
Yes also true Carolyn :) the good thing is that if I can do this hike at a reasonably normal pace and at altitude with zero acclimatization, then at least I am in the clear for not having long covid 🤗 which initially, in Mexico City, I was not so sure of 😉
Fijne avond, groeten, Gilberte
Thank you so much for doing this video, since we can't do something like this, I am very happy to see that i can watch it on youtube while laughing and enjoying the climb up the volcano
Yes it makes a massive difference. Santa Ana is at 600 metres and the volcano crater at 2300 metres which is a big difference in just a couple hours haha 🤪 that ice cream was godsent, that alone made it worth it :D
This volcano hike is kind of a metaphor for a RU-vid channel, a labor of love that's often a challenge but there's always a payoff for those who stay focused:) Absolutely stunning views at the top! Love those drone shots. Would be great if you can show what it's like using botcoin in one of the first Bitcoin nations. We're hoping Salvador is on our 2022 bucket list destination. Keep the Faith and stay safe guys:) Blessings, James and Kim ❤️
You're right on the metaphor ☺️ if you really want it, volcano hike 🌋 or RU-vid 📸 you can get it 💪🏻 we're gonna try to pay in Bitcoin next but we can't get the local app it seems (Chivo) as they told us it is only available to residents. So still looking into it ☺️
Fantastic shot, the fog moving over the cráter to cover it completely. It's so funny i just found you 2 years later of your trip, today is July/1/2024.
Echt leuk!
@@NaickKim It was very, very difficult. You cannot imagine. 8 hours up. 6 hours down. You can overnight at the top but only in an open room with 20 sweaty people snoring away... plus you can't camp. You can't pee anywhere (because Fuji-san is a deity in Japanese folklore) and you have to pay each time you do at each check point. It's tough. It's a volcano so the ground is made up of millions of little rocks... THE VIEW AT THE TOP IS AMAZING THOUGH!!!
Kim's face when Naick first mentioned ice cream :) :) :) (and any flavor is good, but after that hike, think I'd have gone with mango) Looking forward to the big reveal.
Thank you so much, welcome Deanna! 😉 we were surprised how busy it was too. Fortunately the crater is massive so it did not take away from the views up there!
it was so nice to watch your video, got me memories from 1979 when we did climb that very same route with my fellow junior high students, of course, it wasn't as nice as it is now but we didn't have to pay because it was open land to anyone.
Y salvo. Saludos cordiales y bienvenidos a nuestro país 🤗
