Hi Liam. If you're ever down in the southwest near Bristol I would love to host you at my home course. 2 x 18 Hole courses open year round always in good condition but at risk of losing all but 9 holes to housing

I took a neighbour's son to Wolves to watch football many moons ago Liam. In the posh bit behind the directors' box (not trying to brag I promise). The lad was about ten. Steve Bull came over for a chat, as he often did. The lad didn't recognise him. To sort things out I said to one of the stewards - could you tell this lad who that was? The answer came back in a broad and lovely Black Country accent. 'Who's that? That's Bully. He's a fookin' legend'. Point well made.

actually played Shifnal on our golf society day a couple of years ago. We play once a month at some beautiful courses around the Midlands - Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and Staffordshire. The staff at Shifnal were attentive and hospitable; the food was delicious and the course was in mint condition!! The members were welcoming and made a real effort with us. Perfectly manicured and the greens were quick! All in all, a stunning course and absolute gem. Would also recommend South Staffs, Gaudet Luce and Droitwich, not forgetting Bewdley Pines.

Shifnal golf club I want to come and play.... Pete`s put was a thing of beauty... If the hole was 50ft further down the green and about 20ft left it would have been a perfect put🤣... Just love watching you guys. You could lift the spirits of someone on death row! And even OMP made an appearance.. Wonderful.

Shifnal golf club, I want to come and play. This is what golf is about for so many of us good company, a bit of competition and the game of golf occasionally kicking us between the legs but we keep coming back. Pete always seems a real pleasure in the course easy to see why he was made captain the other year at his club.
