The 2 scariest moments in the water was exploring an engine block someone threw in the ocean for an anchor point and a small octopus biting me. Grabbed the chain and dam thing was camouflaged so it wrapped me up and i guess "bit" me or whatever they do. second was riding a manta in open water- guess was more Exhilarating.

Great episode, Jordan. Those spotted bay bass are great fun on flies. Find a current break over structure and they’ll be there. Clouser minnows in more drab colors like olive/white or brown/yellow. You also have a shot at picking up corvina (think East coast sea trout without spots) and it’s so much fun.

My dude you have start buying whole blocks of cheese. That pre shredded stuff has an additive that pretty much makes it hard to melt, if you had shredded it yourself the cheese would have caramelized so much better.

Even if you saw a live one, you never would have caught it. They are fast. Back in the 70's They used to be in heards of thousands and they were easier to catch, we still used hawaiian spears. Now a days, you're lucky to find Lobsters, and Abalones. I love it, Little barks for the drag peel

An old diver's trick to keep your mask from fogging: Spit on the lenses and wipe it around. Sounds gross but it WORKS!!!

My buddy invited me to that charter once, he caught 2 big ass mahi mahi, but I declined because of the amount of people on the boat. I’m an og fisher, well not og but was taught to never fish next to another fisherman. Idk I just can’t do that lol. And I bet you liking the Cali bud to. The closer you get to the border the better the bud gets lol.
